tBm, try his C5 mission,
The Focus, it's outstanding.
Edit: You'll have to get it at the Keep, Jason doesn't have the C5 missions at Thiefmissions yet.I am. Another good one. Except for the start (difficult to ghost but not impossible) I'm doing pretty good. My problem at the moment is "Age".
Those who have played will know whereof I speak.
Nice little "tricks" he is using in this one.
I did note that "ROFB" does tend to have his guards a little on the overalert phase, but experienced players should be alright.
Noobs, better have made funeral arrangements. :D

I can "play" this fm, but the objectives - screen shows only empty boxes (If I choose expert difficulty a box more appears).
I already use GarretLoader 1.32; T2 is patched to 1.18 (german).
I copied over all files the fanmission-FAQ tells me to.
However, I had to get rid of the *.rtf - file in the fanmission- .zip-file,
because in all my GarretLoaders letting those texts in gives me crashes of the latter. But this seems not to be an issue regarding the ingame-objectives.
I tried other T2 fm's and they work without problems. Only this beauty
causes trouble ...
What can I do to make the objectives work here ?

I guess there is something wrong with the goals.str file, it's possilbly been placed in the wrong folder. Try Darkloader 4.2 instead.

By using Darkloader instead of GarretLoader for this Mission all my problems were solved.
Took me 3 hours to finish the mission, with some minor help from this thread.
Very fine mission indeed. Thanks.

I can't believe that I spent I don't know how many hours I spent looking for
two of the "keys" for the guests' locked boxes when they have to be lock-picked!
Ugh! Aside from my own stupidity, this one definitely ranks high on my list - looks beautiful, nice layouts, decent storyline, good objectives, but not insane jumps and such. Finished on Expert short 230 loot and 3 secrets, which astounds me considering how many times I went over every inch
looking for keys I didn't need!
This one is in my Top Five list for sure. I think the "F" in RFOB should be for "Fantastic!" Keep it up RFOB and many thanks! Cheers, Wink

ROFB, you have done a fantastic job on this mission. I have been looking for a time-consuming mission like this for a while (one where I can just sit down for hours on end and play the only game I truly love!). Thanks for all the time you spent on it. :thumb:

Excellent. I'll pick out one specific piece of loveliness for praise: the high staircase / hall with the two daggers. A gorgeous piece of work from floor to ceiling, and especially the ceiling.
I swear that's the most confusing mansion layout I've ever played. I wish the player map had conveyed a little more info, but I'm not going to nitpick too much.
Played first time on expert, and ghosted about 90 minutes before starting to knock people out. (I find myself playing in this pattern: it provides the fun and challenge of ghosting for a while, while also allowing me to get on with my life.) And anyone who thinks the ghost was demanding must not remember Brother Murus (?) from Return to the Cathedral. Now that was a demanding guy! If I'd had some unholy water, Murus would have bitten it.

Wonderful mission! Beautiful architecture, very moody and challenging without becoming frustrating, even I ghosted the mission (more or less) on Expert. One thing I didn't find though, were the
two silver daggers.
Well, I found one of them, but one is still missing. Can anyone tell me where they are?
SinisterShadow on 23/7/2006 at 23:31
@hopper
If you return to the place, where you found the first one and have a look around, you'll see the other dagger hanging in quite a simmilar place like the one you already found.
I think you have found a dagger that belonged to a guest, right? The two daggers for the objective are regular loot items. They can be found
on the wall above one of the staircases, I think it´s the one that goes from outside the bar to what looks like a library.
