OK, since nobody else mentioned this it must be pretty obvious.... but I cannot find the way to the cloiser or garden or coal chute...

This is driving me nuts!!!!:laff:

The coal chute is in the basement of the building. You can use it to enter the garden. The key to the coal chute is in the generator room across from the chute. If you climb the ladder, you'll reach the garden, if you climb the small canopy there, you'll reach the roof and if you proceed to the other side of the roof you'll come to the cloister.

Errrr... no. I just get to a courtyard with several doors. One of these, a metal one, I canNOT open even though I have the key I got from the ghost. Somebody, please, where exactly is the cloister?

Sorry about the whining. Frustrated, though...

This courtyard is referred as the cloister here, I think. The key you got from the ghost...
[spoiler]...unlocks a door in the underground area, below the kitchen of the old woman's house. You can reach that building through the garden (the unlocked door). Go into the kitchen and search for a switch (search low) -- and no it's not the switch on the stove.;)[/spoiler]

Well, heres my review.

I had a fantastic time playing this map, I've been real busy the last week, and I havent played any thief in a while, and Im so glad I did this. I sat in my room with all the windows covered and played basically all day, and it felt fantastic.

A few things that annoyed me:

I think the ghost had you running around a little too much, I was still having fun but if you're ghosting, it an be tedious to run back to the lords room like 5times, especially if you're not really sure whats going on.

I had a little trouble navigating the secret vents, sometimes I would get stuck in them etc, but Im SO GLAD you put lots of them because I love that sort of thing.

A few things that were totally awesome

[SPOILER]The pagan bit near the end was great, it was a real cut and dried castle ghost mission but that brought back the thief1 feeling which was a nice touch, when that bugbeast wandered by I bout shat myself, I love it. [/SPOILER]

The map looked awesome, everything was great.

The story was good, plot twists and all

To be honest, I did have to consult this thread twice for things.

[SPOILER]I read the thing about martin dropping somthing in the sewers, but for some reason I thought he said he dropped a bracelet, so I did go down th ere looking but I didnt find the key myself, I had to read a hint.[/SPOILER]

[SPOILER]Also, I did grab the one dagger, but for some reason didnt look at the other, I also got a little confused and thought Dreggers dagger was one of the daggers, I was close but not quite.[/SPOILER]

Other than that, FANTASTIC! Thank you very much for making this.

I've completed most everything on the list except for one thing, [SPOILER]finding the info on Raputo. I figured that I need to go talk to the ghost again but I can't find him anywhere. I looked in all the places he appeared before but can't find him. I don't remember if he told me where to go the last time he appeared or not. Can anyone tell me where to find him?[/SPOILER]

[SPOILER]The last thing that I did for the ghost was to poison the old woman. I don't remember if he said anything after I did that or not. The last place I saw him was upstairs in the old woman's house before I went up in the attic. The very next thing I did was to mix the poison but now I can't seem to find him. I'm assuming that he is going to either give me the info I need or tell me where it is.[/SPOILER]

Ok, I just finished this one and found the problem. I don't know if this happened to anyone else but here's the bug I ran into.

[SPOILER]There were only 2 things left for me to do. One was to find the information on Raputo and the other one, according to the objectives list was to help the ghost find out who killed him. I thought I had already done this because he had told me that the old woman did it and that I was supposed to poison her. I had been all over the map trying to find him again with no success. I then went back upstairs and found the info that I was missing and then went back to where I dropped off the child's body. Just for the hell of it I picked her up and then dropped her. As soon as I did this the chime went off and now the objectives list told me that I had helped the ghost and it was now checked off. Now when I went to the door in the pagan caves the mission ended as it was supposed to.[/SPOILER]
