Specifically, Lord Alan's Fortress, Left for Dead, and The Abominable Dr. Dragon. I played Two Fathers (after the above, I confess), and I thought it was very enjoyable. Good job.:)

And, now, those lovely cute baby seals have multiplied to the point where they're destroying what's left of the cod fishery..... :erg:
I'm not knocking the fact that you've allowed your environmental views to influence the mission, in fact I'm glad that you share them, and in a way that doesn't seem out of place. A nice continuation it seems, from that conversation outside the warehouse in Shipping & Receiving.

Yes, that's how it was meant, as expanding on the little side story of the original mission. Not necessarily my personal views but more of a continuation of the conversation in Shipping and Receiving,(the one where the guard speaks of his son always coughing) and others...like everyone always coughing and saying : "Oh, the air is getting so filthy around here!" And the guards talking to themselves about not hearing birds anymore, etc....the wealthy people being the only ones who can keep plants (you know the drill). Personally, I like cod, computers and plastics. No doubt that we've made our own bed though. The cod thrived in throngs for centuries with seals doin' the all-you-can-eat gig before we screwed it up. If anyone wants the last word on the subject, go ahead. If we keep it up too long, it will end up a community chat thread and not an FM thread!:laff:

Stupendous!!! :laff:
At the beginning ... welll ... let's just say I was using another "s" word alot as I kept reloading & reloading just so I could swim through without losing any life points. :grr: Finally managed it; but it would have been nice if I had been able to find that breath potion that you had laying around somewhere.
Breath potion? That would be handy. Where's that?

I've been reading the forums occasionally but haven't posted for a while. This one I'm posting on again.

I am agreeing with these two statements whole-heartedly, even as someone who was born and raised in Newfoundland, whose father was half-time carpenter, half-time cod fishermen, and myself working in the plants as a fish gutter a lot. It's too bad no one payed any attention to Audubon so long ago. Yesterday they closed the cod fishery, probably for good. Mind you, they can't stop other countries from fishing them. When I was a kid, those troughs were as full in the afternoon when you left work as when you came in in the morning. Like it would never end until the end of time. Indoobitably, you may be right, a seal cull will help the populations of cod, but uncadonego is right that it's not the seal's fault, it's man's fault. Uncadonego, you said someone could have the last word on this, so I took it.
As for the other environmental comments in the mission, I also think they are dead on. Living in the Windsor area now, automotive capitol of Canada, and the great polluted gateway for all the 18 wheelers between Canada and the U.S. , and the papers have articles now and then about the abnormally high use of Ritalin for children in this area and the behavioural and learning problems. Once again, very on point. As for the lead dust, I saw on Detroit public television a show about that very thing, a place where the kids have huge blood lead levels around the lead smelter, I think of the top of my head the place was called Arcaleum or something like that.
They were less views than facts. Also the way you incorporated other real life things like repressed memory syndrome and stuff with the environment issues, plus a genuine thief tale all in one, it's really good writing. One other thing. You started the Who Are You thread that pops up so frequently, and you are married with three kids, so is Delphos. So consciously or unconsciously, I agree with nil8hate, the story seems to be of a personal nature on some level.
I must agree also with veselle

fhapgood, DreamWalker, and others:
Here's how the water tunnels go in difficulty:
On Normal and Hard, you have a breath potion in your inventory and the rock that covers that airhole isn't there.
On Expert, there is no breath potion, and a rock covers the airhole. It's harder, but hey, it's expert!:erg:
Lonzboy: a fish gutter eh? Hmm.....can't understand why you would get into the printing business....:laff:
You are very close....off the top of your head. I think that you are referring to a place called Herculaneum , Missouri. I did have that in the back of my mind at times while writing Dr. Jebediah Smith's notebook, though it's not a direct reference. You can look up a bit of info on it on the internet. Hmm... I'll come back in a sec with a link.
Anyway thanks again Lonzie.:)(

Just finished replaying Thorin's most recent masterpiece, Karras's Diary, and I must of had to reload a least a couple dozen times until I figured how to position & time my jumps and strafing in my attempts to reach the upper secret area near the starting point ... and that was in broad daylight!! In comparison, the underwater tunnels & caves in Two Fathers seem like a piece of cake. So no more bellyaching from this taffer ... just need to get back into shape. :p

LOL!!!:laff:
Push-ups! More push-ups!!
Thorin's Easter Egg is one of the best of all time!:thumb: The other one is in the OM "Framed" at the beginning. Darn! I should have included an Easter Egg in mine!
Part 2 will have more than one Easter Egg, I promise!:D
