i still cannot find
the secret in the closet, and is it in the doc's house?
could ya give me a hint as to what house and where to look (doorframe high low etc)

ShadowWolf
The closet is on the main floor of the doctor's house, in the sitting area that's to the left as you enter by the front door. Go into the closet, turn around to face the door and then jump to look above the doorframe. That's where you'll find the button you're looking for.
The next mission I'll keep the hard to find switches for surprises, and the bit easier ones to find, I'll save for objectives.
I just re-zipped last night so that German taffers will be able to read. Dinksmallwood translated the files for me into german. She is going to run through the game in german and see if everything is fine, and I'll run through it one more time in english and make sure everything's fine. Then epithumia and Komag can put it up. I'll let you German taffers know when you'll be able to read the readables soon.:)

I've set up my link again so people can keep dowloading it until a new host site is up. It is now in English and German. Thanks to Dinksmallwood for translating the texts.

my dear uncadonego, dont be so hard on yourself. keep the switches just as they are.
let me explain something, i have a tumor behind my left eye that sometimes causes a glare in that eye and makes it almost impossible to see right sometimes. that's y i couldnt find it :)
i love your mission ! :thumb: :)
uncadonego on 10/5/2003 at 05:16
Oh that's too bad. I hope it is not a malignant tumour.:o
ShadowWolf421 on 10/5/2003 at 05:54
oh no i was fortunate, its benign, i was born with it. been thru like 5 surgeries (b/c of blood clots, cysts, etc) and MRI's, CT Scans, the works, half all the drama was at age 5 :wot: which is why i HATE hospitals lol
but all that has made me a stronger more relentless taffer. im all good and i try not to let it hold me back, but sometimes it does and that aggrivates me more than anything
which may be why i im a lil saddistic sometimes in thief :ebil:
who knows i might do a fourth FM with me as one of the head thiefs wearing a eye patch on my left eye :laff:
ok sorry for babbling on but im like so tired and i just wrote out 20 graduation invitations :eww:
ok goodnight im finna fall....asle....:bored:

Don't blame you for being wary of hospitals. They're necessary, but I'd rather avoid them as much as possible. I used to babysit for a woman who had a son with an eye problem as well. It needed to be operated on to be corrected. They operated on the wrong eye. It's been years since I've seen him, so I don't know how his eyes are now. He had serious sight problems in both eyes after the operation.
On a lighter note, make the head thief with the eye patch the say "Yar!!!" a lot in the schemas!! "Shiver me timbers!!!" When he's chasing Garrett he could say: "You'll walk the plank for this ya scarvy scoundrel!!":tsktsk:
