Thanks Esme, and now that the story is fresh in your mind, you may wish to play part 2 of the story, called "The Time That Has Passed". :)
Esme on 18/4/2005 at 13:18
Already done that one, played them the wrong way round I know but they still rocked, your attention to detail is incredible

Thanks again Esme, nice to hear! A few kudos here and there make it all worthwhile! :)
Where is the "collection room"? I've been all over the upper mansion and the lower three houses as well as the caves and I'm about 2000 short on loot. The collection room looks like it has a ton of stuff and I don't remember picking up any diamonds so far. Where is the clue that tells me where the collection room is? Playing on expert.
People are still playing this? COOL! :D
You po, po boy....
the collection room is in the big fancy room with its own bathroom and the custom made bed ( not an object from Dromed but constructed from brushes). There is a locked closet door, and then a metal locked door behind it. The man in the garden with the guard near him has a key to that room. He's in the garden court past the fountain.
Any other help you need, just post! ;)

Thanks, Uncadonego.
Yea. I ration the better missions. I worry that if I play all the best ones, I'll have nothing to look forward to. I hate to go into a good fm when I'm a bit bored with Thief so lots of times I'll play the less highly rated missions and then quit altogether for months or years and come back and still have some 9 or 10 rated missions to look forward to. :) Other times I like to think about making an FM of my own. Usually I'll lie down and think about that and how glorious it will be, the crowds of taffers worshipping me and so forth and then pretty soon I'm dozing peacefully... or not, like yesterday I started dreaming about stealing some correspondence and when I read it, it turned out it was owned by some sort of muslim fundamentalists and you know how they feel about thieves. Well, I spent a lot of time in that dream scared they'd chop my hands off. I must stop playing thief and experimenting with flatbreads.

Thanks The Phantom, that's a nice thing to say! :)
the inscrutable po, I think you need to worry more about the Hammers in your dreams:
Before death came,
the liars were
made to feast
upon the hands
of the thieves,
And the thieves
were made to
ingest the
tongues of their
liar brothers,
And we praised
the Master
Builder for
his judgements.
--The Hammer
Book of Tenets
-just thought I'd give you something to dream about tonight.
