I'm playing now for the first time "Two fathers" and it's for the first time in a fan mission that I finished the non-loot objective and had only... 50% of the loot objective (playing on expert). [Usually I finish the loot objective well before the rest of the objectives]
"Well, I'm screwed. Probably the rest of the loot is constituted by nuggets, well hidden in that awfull watercave" I thought. "I'll be drowning there, for sure".
But remembering uncadonego's care for hidding the secret switches from "A thief nonetheles, I pursue on exploring every pixel and I was lucky to find the switch from that bedroom, in the middle house. And kind of like started a mission within the mission. I wonder if there are any secrets in that huge area, because it would be for the first time that I encounter a secret intro a secret.

Simbad, if you want to find a secret in a secret, I put one in Just Take A Look.

I'll get there! I started to play your missions chronologically...
It's good to know that in "Two fathers" there are no more secrets in the
secret section, because it's a huge space, with lot of details, and until now I lost a lot of time checking every inch.
I'm curious about polycarp's post. It's possible to reach the town adjacent to "thieves hideout", at the starting? When I looked up, I just saw the plain sky, nothing to pin a rope arrow on. You said something about a little piece of dirt on top of that sewer; you meant actually in the sewer, not outside, above ground?

Ok, it is an end of the world area, not meant to be travelled by the player. There is nothing there. It is just meant as an area built to look like life is going on outside the gate. However, if you want to get up there, for some reason I can't understand, when you look up and see the sky in the square, aim just barely below edge of the sewer hole. There's nothing there though.

Well, but how wonderful is to explore something that looked unreachable.
And, for the future missions, is good to learn new ways of "getting somewhere".

Guard "Quinn" is having an identity crises!
He comes marching down the stone steps mumbling:
"Nobody pushes Benny around!" :wot: :weird: :laff:
PotatoGuy on 9/2/2011 at 13:47
Now now, maybe Benny is a close friend of his. :)
Garrett's Shadow on 9/2/2011 at 13:57
Benny's closest friend is bottled in Bond! :p :cheeky:

That line is used by any AI who has the Benny voice. Unless the author takes steps to prevent it, it's assigned to 1 in 5 male guard/cop AIs on average.
