I need to find out what I am missing. When I try to start playing it crashes every time. So if someone can't give me a solution I guess I won't be able to play it. I enjoyed playing Mysterious Invitation very much.

Just delete the movies and the mission should start. The problem is, the movies uses a codec, which causes issues with Thief.

No matter what I do I cannot get on the wall that leads to the central tower. I have tried stacking the boxes and no matter how I stack them I still can't jump and get on the wall because of the angle. Is there another way to get in the central tower and then go up to the top floor without getting killed by the haunts or the crown?

It's been awhile since I played it but if I remember correctly you just need to use a few water arrows (holy water arrows?). I'm pretty sure that's it. If I'm wrong someone will no doubt correct me.
