Do any other FMs work for you, ShadowSoul? Are you using DarkLoader or Garrettloader or something else?
"Whatever happened to Sir Agutt?" isn't using any custom scripts, so unless you've messed up the original scripts somehow, you should be fine. Try re-installing Original (Thief 2) via DarkLoader and then install "Whatever happened to Sir Agutt?" again.

Check your CPU core associations in the Windows Task Manager (CTRL-SHIFT-Esc., chose "Processes", look for the Thief process, right click on it, chose CPU associations and deselect any except for one CPU(-core)). The procedure might be somewhat different on your machine though, it depends on your operating system.

You don't need that, as long as you're using ddfix.
Though, you should check first if this is the problem actually, which is why I mentioned this procedure.

This all started when I downloaded the latest FM's for thief II... I know I loaded one corrupted download for sure... What happened next does not make a lot of sense. Tried to load Hammer staduim and garret and the princess (not sure which one first) then when I try to load mission using darkloader, thief crashes before it can even start. Darkloader showed it was cleaning up files and loading the new mission. Then I reboot my PC and I actually got Sir Augutt to run... why I don't know. After I finished the mission I was having the same problem again loading most missions. I could load the mission saturine made... the haunted house mission with the five dead thieves. Then I tried to load other missions and none of them would load and saturine;s would not load. I could still run thief from my CD and play the game that way... I wanted to check that to make sure.
I noticed I could not run the original mission from darkloader. I uninstalled darkloader and all my FM's. Re installed with latest darkloader, still no success. Then I uninstalled thief II. Reinstalled and now it works fine. I will have to reload the texture upgrade package at some later time. I think that one of the latest FM's corrupted my ThiefII installation. Which one I cannot be sure.

Next time you've got a problem with FM (un-)installation, try to follow the manual cleanup procedure written in the (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=48202) Thief Fan Missions FAQ pinned on top of the Thief FM forum, before you reinstall Thief. This probably would have solved your problem without a reinstall.

Playing for the first time, due to some technical problems earlier.
I love the dolly part
but where do I get the "cold storage key"?
The key in the cooks room is the "Castle key".

Um. If I remember correctly, the cold room key Should be in the cook's room. Are you sure you're in the right room, Gloria? Cook's room is next to Lord Marboby's room. What else did you find in there?
Gloria Creep on 22/6/2010 at 20:50
I found the castle key in there and there is a diploma hanging on the wall.
