one other question...
I have put the hammer in the mold, down the back of some store room...what does that do,lolwill I still have a use for it further on
So you've assembled the mold and hammer, ah, then a message flashes up telling you, that a door has opened somewhere nearby. Just go down the stairs in that room and you've find it. Oh yeah, the hammer/mold seems quite sensitive i found and another player found that it's possibly to frob it twice, when you only intended to frob it once, leading one to believe no door has opened. Haha. :DEDIT: Curses, 2 mins late. I am slipping. :cheeky:

:D I shall leave you to it now, shadows. I've got work to do.

Black chess piece placed, "You hear a door open somewhere nearby" -- RIGHT... Sorry, but I'll be buggered if I can find that... and stuck once again. Seem to have explored everything there is to explore; No clue what to do with the hammer or where this new door is... Reading this thread
You know, this is WAY too complicated for it's own good -- even with the readables most of these I either got through blind luck or reading this thread... I sure as shine-ola didn't figure out anything from the in-game text or context.

The door
that opened is very close. Check behind the curtains. If you still can't find it, then maybe you have frobbed the chesspiece multiple times? Maybe frob it once again, since you might have closed it again.
Read the last few post regarding the
hammer. It has been discussed very often already in this forum.

The door that's opened, is in the room, you're in. It's behind the red curtain, just walk into the wall in the 'middle' of the room

updating tnhscript seemed to do the trick here. It still crashes every once in a blue moon, but it's not like before where I couldn't even get into the menu.
... and it too five 'frobs' of the chess piece before the door opened -- EXACTLY where I would have put it and the FIRST place I was checking. Would be nice if there was some sort of audio to tell you something was opening or closing on that one...
Ok, mold and hammer, I assume from what I've read in this thread I'm supposed to use the Intricate metal hammer on it... and that does absolutely NOTHING... I'm not really told the grey slab is a mold, nothing I do seems to interact with it though it highlights like you could frob it...
am I using the wrong hammer or something? Is there some other item I need to interact with that grey slab in the hidden crawlspace in the front part of the upper level store room near the east wing?.
P.S. This mission is ANNOYING. I may just walk away from this one; It's pissing me off.

Thanks for letting us know that replacing tnhscript.osm helped.
If you're talking about the sound of a door opening when you place the chess piece, then there is one. Oddly enough, the placing of the piece was one of the few things that worked perfectly every time when testing and didn't need 5 goes to get it to work. Strange it was like that for you but it's definitely a quirky mission. :)

You must find the
mold first and then return with it to this place.
