Hmm, I was wondering why I wasn't getting anywhere with this one so I checked a few spoilers on the first page here, and it seems it's been going wrong for me....
I gave the raw sausages to the wolfman and he was happy to accept them, and I got the door lever in return. But there doesn't seem to be any way into the upper floors. People were talking about a "recipe book" under the toilet - I presume in that caged-off section where you look up to see the upper floor toilet opening - but I can't see any recipes there. Maybe I've just sprung a load of bugs by giving the wolfman the raw sausages.

No mess, it depends on difficulty! I'm not sure where you are but the lever opens the main doors below the tower near the start area. Once you've accessed both sides, you need to look for a way to turn the electricity on. Check the servant's quarters.

Ah, thanks for that nickie. I'll get back into it this evening.

Hooray! Finally finished the mission. (Took a bit. I haven't been able to play for several days due to headaches. For some reason the headaches + thief = motionsick)
Anyway, once I got a nudge for inner tunnels, I stumbled around and fell on the rest of the solutions for the main objectives.
Thanks for the help. It was a good mission, even if I still don't get the logic of all of the puzzles. lol
I am still curious about a few of the side puzzles though.
1. I never did find the ape playing the piano. Then again, I never found a piano either. ?? There were three ape I located: The one in the cage room in the basement, the big 'cycplops' ape guarding the stairs, and the little ape-rat on the bed in Banassa's room. I tried all three with the spongy cheese and no one wanted it. ? Since I already fed the wolfy-ape outside, I'm guessing thats not it either.
2. You grab a hook, magnatize it and pull a little lock-box out of the wall of the bricked up doorway. I never was able to locate a key to that one either. So what in-my-face hint was I missing?
And yes, I know I could have played on a lower difficulty, but I am in the habit of playing on expert - just for cases like this. :) I don't WANT to miss side-quests and extra puzzles. I want it all! :D

In the central garden (the one with the portal and the two 'odd creatures'), look for a
hole you can drop down into close to the wall. This leads you to the piano-ape and also to the tiny key.

Playing on Normal, and I have most things done, but:
I don't know how to free Versaw, which I imagine I have to do to be able to defeat Mortus. At the moment, if I fly up and give Mortus the blood, he wins and I'm trapped.

use the ring again to fly down.

Ah thanks jiansonz. I don't know how I convinced myself I was trapped :laff:

Use the ring a second time and it should pop you right out of there. Personally I had a bit of trouble with it - it kept *dropping* the ring rather than activating it. But you can just pick it up again and retry. Eventually it'll work. :)

Oh my! Thank you! I *COMPLETELY* missed that hole. I ran all around the area. Knocked out the creatures and threw them in the lava, ran in and out of the doors, tried the gates and managed to miss the silly hole. lol Thank you. Finished those two puzzles then, and got the loot requirement too.

A very enjoyable mission. Really brought that old house back to life interestingly and vividly :thumb:
