Put the sleeping burrick on the elevator and someone will come downstairs which will let you get upstairs.

I'm inside the skull dome with the scepter. The trapped servant spoke of climbing upon the crystal fingers. I did that, and am now on top of the metal beam. However, I'm stumped as to what to do next.
Also, what do I do with the Furry Rat?

You're supposed to destroy that light thingy that's causing the force field by frobbing it with the sceptre. It can be tricky reaching it though depending on where you're standing.
You give the furry rat to the poor servant who's totally miserable without it. You should have picked up his diary. The servant will reward you.

OK. I found the "trapped servant." He mentions something about a draft in the east storage room. I've checked every storage room in the basement and can't find anything, as usual.
I managed to use the scepter successfully. Unfortunately, I can neither quick-save nor hard-save. Thief crashes to the desktop when I try. I PM'd a monolog output to Xorak to see if he can figure it out.

The storage you need is
on the ground/1st floor - look around the room where you found the light and you should find something. I assume you're playing on Expert.Ricebug on 8/1/2013 at 11:04
If you're talking about the room where I picked up the strobe light then I've already found the crypt. But the objective to free the servant doesn't tick off.

That objective refers to the trapped servant with the collar around his neck outside in the little hut close to where you start.
You can bring him an item and place it on the gold plate on the table in the room.
The item you need: is a bone key
The location of the item: inside the first room of Mortus' suite, on top of the cabinet, beside the small pirate chest .

Playing on Hard.
Got Angel blood, Daemon blood, missing the child blood. Also I cant figure it out what I must do in the upper tower. I read the earlier post but it doesn't help me. The only things still in my inventory are an empty vial, the ring and the keys.
