ok I'm stuck at what I think is the entrance to the pharoahs tomb
I got both buttons in the room with the 4 sarcophagi and now I'm looking at a combination lock, the lock symbols match the 2 groups of 3 symbols on the maps so I've put them in in map 1-2 order with no joy so I tried map 2-1 order with no effect
go on embarrass me with what I've missed

Esme - open the map and go to the next page after the 2nd map. It shows both maps together held in front of a light source. It will reveal something that will get you going again.

I'm stuck
at the loose stone. It says that it can't be pushed from this side, however I did it anyway, and made my way into a large pool room. I swam into the hole in the bottom only to find myself underneath a platform of some kind. I think I may have gone through this backwards.I am also stuck at

As long as they've sorted out all the clipping problems that plagued Tomb Raider Underworld. :rolleyes: Still, different version of the engine, different player abilities and movement skills, probably not an issue.
I didn't have any problems playing Tomb Raider Underworld. :)

And yes you have done it backwards. As dkessler says, once you've freed the platform by climbing above with rope arrows, you'll get to the water shrine the conventional way. I do hope you haven't blocked yourself in!john9818a on 29/5/2009 at 20:08
I'm still able to move around. I went back to the Sphinx and went inside...
But in the room with the Shrine of Fire, I see wood, but it must be petrified wood. ;) Thanks for the help. I'll keep my eyes open. :)

Shoot into the middle of each beam - there's several that are mainly stone, but have wood in the middle part.

I did that, and each of my rope arrows broke. Anyway I did manage to shoot one up to the ceiling and climb up. I got the stone block to move, and I walked across it, climbed onto a narrow walkway, and now I am stuck inside a cubby hole.
Going down into the blue water took me back to where I was before. :)

Cubby-hole: there's a door there that will open later.
Water-Shrine: check out the tunnel opening that you swam out of.
Don't understand about the rope-arrows tho' - they should work.
