Thank goodness you've turned up Elentarien, I'm getting totally lost here with what they've done. I can't understand how Aspirin has got the staff but not fallen down to that mummy.

Sorry, I'm not native english speaker and it seems I've misinterpreted something... :(
I was in (what seems as) throne room with Daihoteps heart. Behind this throne room is circle room with lava and behind it is small niche with Staff of Nyar. I got staff and make my way back the same way as I got in (damn new mummies !!!). No other way down to the mummy...
So I'm lost too, nickie... :)

As I said . . . :)
Sticky Fingers is more on the ball than I was!Hey,
nickie, fair's fair - you got me back on page 4 :joke:
I'm confused too - with the layout, I didn't think it was possible to go 'backwards'.

Aspirin - the entrance is from the real tomb which is a chamber where you follow the scarab. After you've collected a relic from a beam, gone to what I'd call a throne with the heart and some loot, moved round the back to collect the staff which triggers the Royal mummies, making your way out of there you should fall down a hole in the floor to where that mummy was that you found in the maze.
I did? Me neither Sticky Fingers lol - I'm really struggling here, trying to make out what's been done or not done

Fast & furious now!
Aspirin - if you got out of the throne room the same way you got in, you can ignore that maze, it's just another way out of the throne room.
Sounds like your next move is to destroy the heart.
Dang, you did it again, nickie! I think Aspirin must have gotton over that hole (with a rope arrow).

HEY !!! I know: it's the corridor from throne room where you fall down to mummy. But previously I put rope arrow into the wooden beam on ceiling and maybe this prevented the trap from working !

I think then Aspirin that you've found some kind of new bug. [Edit No bug] Leaving that area you should fall down a hole in the floor.
Yes - so that's what you did. I did that as well in testing - just for fun but it still opened for me anyway.
So that's one sorted! John? How you doing?
Elentari on 29/5/2009 at 21:45
LOL nickie. Yup I'm here, and hopefully we can sort him out.
Aspirin, it sounds like you got into the right area - but got out when you weren't supposed to. Which would explain part of the trouble.
I'm not even going to try to figure out how you managed that. I know I tried REALLY hard during beta and never got past without landing where I was supposed to. So, what I suggest is you go back to the throne room area. When you go through the cave entrance, over that bit of crumbled wall, you'll be in a short corridor between the throne room and the exit (where Golik is). Somewhere in that short passage, the floor should give out under you.
Once you're in there, you are in the maze, and well, you probably figure where you come out again. And you should be able to go on your way.
From there, your objectives should be mostly complete, but you have to do one more thing before you can *leave* the temple entirely, and the readables should tell you what that is.
Does that sort things out a bit now? :)

13 posts in 21 minutes - no wonder there's confusion :laff:
Aspirin on 29/5/2009 at 21:53
UFF !!! The staff is where it should be, my eyes see what they should see, and I'm where I should be. So I'm not mad (although deep in ancient tombs full of mummies you never know... :) ).
Thanks !
