Really nice one!
I'm stuck. I have the book of the dead, escaped in front of the Sphinx from the trap. I was in a place too, where a plague tells about a water shrine, and there's a door around too, which "can't be opened from this side". What to do?

Look up when you stand in front of the water "thing", the beams over you have some wood elements. Rope up !

ticky - don't worry about the doors you can't open yet. Go to the Fire Shrine (with all the lava) & rope arrow to the ledges at the top. Use the switches there to remove the poles & allow the metal platform to drop. Then go back down & dive into the water - at the other end look carefully underwater for a button.

I´m stuck in a area with lots of spikes in the ceilings(frames), there are two skeletons on fire, i´ve killed them, but can´t find a way out of this area...any help?

If you have indeed killed the fire guardians, have you noticed a scroll in that room somewhere? You should be able to climb a blue ladder and grab that scroll, do that, you'll find out what to do next. Save the game before you grab that scroll, which is the book of the dead.

Thank you for your help.
I also can't find the organ and the so-called big chamber with scarab anywhere. I also shot a button in a four-coffin tall room toward the sun anch, but nothing happened.

A hint was given earlier in this thread, but, if you've done most everything, and just need to get into that chamber. You should of triggered an opening somewhere, go back to where you found the Goliks journal, go back to that spot. You'll need all the maps.

cardia1: If you've killed the guardians using holy water or flashbombs, that's a bug, you're not supposed to be able to kill them that way. Instead, you must put out the flames in the braziers behind them. Once this is done, you can gain access to the Book of the Dead.
ticky: That area is accessed a little bit later. Have you found Golik and the other map yet?

I have the other map and Golik's diary too, but can't remember, where I found Golik.
