There is one area I did not figure out how to get to. In the large room where the second map was found, there is a set of ramps that lead somewhere. How do I get to those ramps?

john9818a - I am a bit confused because if you have the second map then must have been at the base of those ramps. But from the sphinx, head north and then west and you will come to those ramps.

When I installed the new GarrettLoader, I lost all of my saves. There still in the Thief folder, but GarretLoader doesn't see them.
When I first entered that room, I came in from the ground floor, not the ramps. I'll have to go back and look at it.
Edit: I didn't see the opening at the end of that room before now. :o

even the nasty little floor traps that don't highlight when you look at them so you don't know they are there until you step on them which were particularly evil and devious in my book - I must steal that idea :ebil:
still there was always a clue something was up, you just had to look for it and not rely on the darkengine to outline the threat with a frob highlight
