Good. Found the place, entered the code, stole the scepter. Now I find myself surrounded by all kinds of fast zombies. And, I have the heart. What should I do?
Edit 1: Just got back to the pool of water. What's going on?

First you have to get out of the real burial chamber, just RUN!
How to make sure Daihotep's presence in this world is no more?
Super small hint: Use his heart
Hint that maybe is useful: Search your inventory for a clue. It's called Old Hammerite scroll I think
Hint that may come in handy: Use the same way as in From Beneath The Sands.
Somewhat bigger hint: Check our map on the upper level. Somewhere you'll need to use that heart.

That's not a problem, just make your way to the upper levels! You can easily avoid the evil mummies. :p

These evil mummies are everywhere! Even on the second floor.
What's worse is that I don't know where is that symbol of the death even with the help of the map...

I enjoyed this mission thoroughly. Thanks nicked! I want more. :) Lots of superlative comments have been made, with which I agree.
I played in Expert, mostly ghosting until the end, for over four hours and went everywhere 3-4 times trying to avoid coming here and getting hints. Got 4 / 5 relics and 2440 / 2540 loot.
I eventually did have to come here for help. I thought you might like to know the places where I got stuck.
Four sarcophagus room. Found high button but missed the low one. Not really stuck, but wondering what the high button was all about.
Water shrine. Missed the button underwater. I am still not sure what that button did, but I gather from reading here that it was important. This seems a little obscure.
Entrance to hidden burial chamber.
I went down that hole several times and saw nothing. I had no reason to go down there again. But a hint here said that that was the entrance, so I went there again and it was open. I don't know what triggered it. Was it the water button? If so, I missed the connection.
I don't mind spending the time to hunt things down. I mention the above only because I think I never would have found them. Thanks again for some great game play and scenery.
