I know where you are now. You need to get up above the pool. There's some wood spots you can use rope arrows on. The quiver of rope arrows lying there is the hint.

Okay, I'm almost done but I'm sorta stumped at the moment. The only thing I have left to do is banish Daihotep- I went the whole mission assuming I would have to shoot a fire arrow at the unlit brazier in the dead hammerite room and drop his staff into it, but now it turns out I have to frob it with something first. Any help here?

Hint. In the Hammerite Scroll is a clue about organs! :D Somewhere on your travels you might well have picked up a bit of flesh! :)
