Thanks Aspirin! I'm glad you had a good time playing Wicked Relics. I set out with the hopes of making a fun and enjoyable mansion crawl and from the responses so far, it sounds like I've accomplished my goal better than I could have expected.

Let's just say that the Hard-working Maid is going to freak out when she sees the Master Bedroom...when she finally comes to. Of course she's gonna have to find a way down from the chandelier first. The Lord and his crazy parties, eh?Heehee. That poor poor woman. She was involved in some pretty crazy stuff during beta-testing too. It's a wonder she hasn't quit by now. :tsktsk:

Also, was I the only one who felt I was playing the Thief version of Jet Set Willy while playing this mission?
Is that a good thing or a bad thing? :weird:

Couple of questions I am one secret short. I got the main objective before I had found all so I saved it at that point, awesome though. For last secret,I take from reading an earlier post
I need to trigger the main objective then look in the theatre. ?
Not exactly -
you do not need to trigger the main objective for any bonus objective or secret. However, there IS a secret located somewhere in or around the theatre. I recommend searching the top floor, if you haven't found a secret in this area. You should know it when you see it.Quote Posted by Gillie
I found all the
Dollies Do I need to put them in a specific place for
The tea party:thumb:
Sadly there is no actually
tea party for the dollies (although I almost put one up on the roof for kicks). As SpongeBob would say, you'll just have to use your imaaaaaaagination. :joke:

Odd. When I found the Emergency Supplies locker, I picked the lock and then used the key to lock it again. So I figured, as I had already opened every door in the basement, that the Cellar Key would just lock the door again it was meant for. I tried it on the "coal chute" doors, but they didn't lock. However, when I tried it on the "other" door, it closed and would not open unless I used the key on it again.
How odd.
You got me curious so I checked things out myself and I think I figured out what's going on here. As far as I can tell, the Cellar key does work on those double doors leading down to the basement as intended, but there is a deadspot on the staircase where lock sounds are quiet or absent, so it might not have appeared to lock when you tried it.
As for the other doors,
the cellar key doesn't unlock any of them .. BUT ..... once they are bashed open, any key will work on them.
After playing around with it for a while, I think they aren't really being unlocked or re-locked by the keys. Rather, it is something similar to when you use a key on an unlocked door. It opens or closes, but the lock state stays the same (unlocked). When you bash a door open, I think it stays locked. It just swings into the open position so you can get through. Using a key on the bashed door makes it swing closed, but doesn't really lock it.
Well, I'm relieved .. now I can sleep tonight without wondering how I managed to leave a key lying around for my set of super secret doors. :D

Very classy mansion mission, kfort :thumb: - terrific layout & gameplay, lots of beautiful objects, artwork & other detail, & a very Thiefy feel. And the bit with the multiple doors was a hoot.
Thanx so much for all your hard work on this. Well Done! :D

I ended up finishing this without that last secret. Of course, after coming to this thread I find out where that last secret was, and it figures it's in the one place I really didn't look at.
I loved the shadowjack. We were the bestest friends for everest in this mission! The bonus objectives were great fun too!
However, I think you may have taken a few years off my life due to the invisible monster on the first floor after the scepter is taken. I ran right into it, managed to get away, but then died from it anyway from running into it again. XD Yeah. It scared me.
Anyway, I had a lot of fun with this. Definitely one that I'll replay.

Definetly a good thing, because unlike Jet Set Willy, it is possible to complete Wicked Relics. Also, you don't get stomped on by a giant foot (a la Monty Python) when you complete Wicked Relics.

Are there any lights not on?That didn't register as a secret for me, did it for anyone else? I'm only missing one, so if that is the last one then I can stop looking for it.
* Edit *
Never mind, I reloaded a previous save and it ticked off this time. Weird... :weird:
