Can somebody please give me a strongish hint about getting the pouch in the busted elevator? I thought of using the vine arrow to rope down from above, but I can't figure out how to get above it in the shaft. I even tried climbing onto the roof, but I couldn't find an opening there (I couldn't even get onto that part of the roof).
I did find LarryG's special Dewdrop, though, so it wasn't a total waste of time. But I'm still stumped about that elevator.
Edit: Hah, figured it out: You see sparks down there, don't you? Think of something that might interact nicely with sparks...
And I still need one more secret... but perhaps it's the one in the theater. Edit: Yep, that was it. Finished with 7 of 8... but only because the 8th busts the ghost. (I got it on a non-ghosting side excursion :thumb:.)

Dafydd look in the bottom of the elevator shaft see all the sparks and smoke ?
hint : what do you think would happen if you tried to make that worse ?
blatant hint : throw an something explosive down the shaft ... then run like hell

cool, I didn't try that as I was saving them and I just happened to have a spare barrel of explosives lying around, the fireworks were excellent :ebil:

It's very humorous and it has (up till now) three of these Look-a-like-Dewdrop-dolly's in it: I just found "pink" Lily in the graveyard.

But: There's this problem: I can save up till 1.32 hours and after that point on, I can play the game, but nót save it.

Yesterday I started playing the FM, probably because only work and no play will make me a dumb boy :cool: and I'm amazed how good this mission is. It will be one of my top favourite for 2009.

Gloria, I've got saves from 2,3 and 4 hours I don't think it's a fault in the mission that's preventing you from saving
how are you off for free disk space ? have you tried a tidy up n defrag ?

Gloria, here is something you might try. Go into your Thief 2 folder and find the file called "user.cfg". Open that file - it is just a plain text file and should open easily in any program that reads text files. If you see the following:
;skip_starting_checks
then remove the semicolon from in front. If you don't see that text anywhere just type it into the file like this:
skip_starting_checks
and then save the file.

Could that be the old Thief 2gb limit bug? If so try emptying your recycle bin and then try again Gloria.

Yes, I do a register check ervery evening ánd a defragmantation programm also.
I cleaned up my "Allsaves" allready .....
I dó have a problem with my free disk space. It's just 14 % right now and that's below everything I know!
I guess it's another problem that I need to sort out.
But still it's strange that another Taffer had the same problem, doesn't it? :confused:
