Yes some walls were a little sticky occasionally but there are a lot of them and I don't think any time it happened needed a reload. As to the hatch I think you mean, again, sometimes a little tricky, sometimes not.
As to the pool, there isn't a secret but there is something else there.

I'm done with the main mission, and I completed the jewelry optional objective but I'm stuck on the dolls. So far I have Rosie, Ivy, Marigold, Violet, Lily and Bluebell and I get the impression I've missed one or two more. Small hint please?
And the shadowjack is fun, I got it after cleaning out the entire mission and remembering that locked door, but breaks immersion a tiny bit :p

Well, you're missing Saffron and she is under the staircase. Unless Kfort moved her again but I don't think so. LarryG's dewdrop is not included, she's just there because he has a habit of doing peculiar things with dewdrop. :D - Actually, he said one day that he'd made a ladder out of dewdrops and it kind of became a joke. I'm still waiting to see evidence.

I've gotten around eleven thousand loot and need about a thousand more, but no clue as to where to get it.

I thought to begin with this mission was gonna be a bit bland, run around steal a few things and leave - but boy was I wrong...
...Engaging readable's, well placed guards and servants, multiple entry and exit points, well placed lighting, some windows climbing, some invisible creatures, some evil special effects, more loot than you shake a very big stick at, some frobbable items that were what I expected or that some people would normally frob and some very articulate humour... The grave yard just had me in stitches.... and where the taff did you find that Garret line? in all the years I've been playing thief Ive never heard that one before..!!

Bikerdude: I recall it being from the original Thief, in one of the missions in the Old Quarter.
It could also be from one of the missions in Thief Gold. Do you have Thief Gold?
