Where is the entrance to the Mechanists' ventilation system in A New Beginning? This is my second playthrough and I have no problem remembering where things are, except for the entrance to the ventilation system.

The entrance to the ventilation system is near the metal bridge at the south of the map. Near this bridge there is a room above a fire camp, and a ledge leads you to the ventilation system.

Found it, thanks! I think the entrance is very easy to miss, even if you're in the immediate vicinity of it. I'm going to finish my ghosting run now! :)

Awesome !
What a nice dense mission.
I love this medieval architecture with its narrow homes and streets.
I just finished part 1 and can't wait to see the rest. :thumb:
Any outlook on part 4 ???

IMO, part 2 is even better and one of my favourite missions of all time. Congrats for not having played it yet. :cheeky:

I must admit it was hard to resist, since I heard a lot of good feedback about this campaign.
But since I started playing FM's about 2 years ago and I knew there should be sequels,
there was plenty other stuff to play in the meanwhile.
Now I am down to just 5 missions on my TODO list. :(
Which means that it is a good time to look into this one :D

Hey, thanks for the compliments.
Don't worry, you can't open the door with a knocking zombie, 'tis just an "ambient sound" I turned as a joke (some were looking for a way to open it).
Really ???
Why would somebody want to open a frobbable door with a zombie behind it who keeps banging on it ?
I can't imagine any reason for doing so :cheeky:
... except for maybe expecting an easteregg behind it, loot ... or whatever else.
I am just finishing 'Discovery'.
Once again:
awesome !!

Allright, i am really getting crazy here: i have the lord manor quarters key and the libriary key and have no clue to go from here, this mission is a nightmare :wot:
Making things so hard to find is cruel, ya know; taffer :(
A map would be handy, too. Anyway, the key in the canal; do i have it now or not ?
Am i rite that it is the canal with the green water...a straigt water flow with a dead end on one side, and the other, goes around the corner with stairs downwards....
The loot i got, and more.

I remember there was a key in that canal, at the "dead end" you mentioned, not near the end where there are stairs leading up. However, I do not remember anymore which key this was. On the other hand... I
think this was the only key for Lord Namez' house which was that far away from the house.
I think you should go to Namez' house and check out all available keys at any door you find there. Then, you have to look very carefully for other keys in the compound; at least one is very well hidden under
a piece of wood which fell from the ceiling of a severely damaged building. This piece of wood is inside the damaged building.
