While checking out some things in the first mission (Un nouveau départ / A new beginning), I noticed that one of the english sound files (snd\guard3\English\sg30705F.wav) is empty while the corresponding french file is not. By replacing the empty file with something else, I found out that it contains the last part of a conversation between two guards at a closed gate, near the starting point of the mission. The conversation triggers the objective to check out rumours about Lord Namez' madness and about strange events in a cellar.
I don't understand the french language well, so I don't know what is missing here. Does not seem to be important, but if someone wants to fix it... just go ahead.

finally found a little time to answer back :cheeky:
first of all, thanks all for your compliments ! In particular the Phantom (gold rating 9, wow... ) :thumb: Thanks !
Ape drape, you can't go in that third floor, it wasn't meant to be visited. So don't bother :cheeky: And you definitely have to play midnight in Murkbell !
Baeuchlein, indeed there is one wav that is available in french and not in english. In fact, to do the conversation there is one custom voice (Santiago) and one of the original voices. when I worked on the translations, a french expression was used first, but then I discovered that the original english expression didn't mean the same thing at all. the french dialogue was more vague, so I could use it in my conversation, but the english version of that dialogue meant something totally different. So I decided not to use it in english, as it's not really important. normally the missing wav goes like "Yeah, guess you're right" or "Well that's the point, taffer !" in french...
*just imagine... *

Wow!! :thumb: :thumb: I just finished the 2nd mission (expert, 3 of 5 secrets, short around 800 total loot), and realized this gave me 3-and-a-half hours of game play!!! If I remember correctly, this is my next-to-longest time for a FM!
Incredibly intricate architecture with tons of new textures. The variety of new music and sounds REALLY added to the immersion (although by the end, I was ready to take my sword to that screeching CAT!). The sounds in the last sewer area I found especially new, well-done, and CREEPY!
I only needed one hint:
The book to open the door to get the stone
, which I found here (Love this place!). I needed a few more nudges for part 1, though.
Assuming it will be on par with the first two, I understand completely why it will take months to finish part 3.
Very well done! Thank you so much, DrK! :)

Midnight in Murkbell is the second mission of Calendra's Legacy. It's outstanding and if you haven't played it, you really should.
I figured that out after I finished D/Ling Calendra's Legacy and installed. Truly an awesome map for Murkbell. Though I'm going to have to take an issue with too many unpickable locked doors. C'Mon, Garret is THE thief, he can't pick a lock?

Assistance please.
I have the library key and the ore. Everyone is knocked out. I cannot get to the other side of any gate. Posts have mentioned
the burnt manor, as well as looking for a key under stairs that meet grass,
but I do not recall seeing any of these two features.
Thank you.

Go to North-East to
small yard behind the wooden gates. Look somewhere in grass - found key. There is manor entrance on opposite side of yard...
In mission 2, I cannot find a blackjack. Any clues?

I can't get the Soul Heart:
I have frobbed the book on the level above the heart many times, even going back to earlier saves, and NOTHING happens. All of the gates remain closed.
I don't understand. I'm going to finish the other objectives and consider this mission completed, because I am not starting over, unless someone knows a solution to my seemingly unique problem.
Also, where is the
second frobbable book
?
I'm tired of looking.
