I can't get the Soul Heart:
I have frobbed the book on the level above the heart many times, even going back to earlier saves, and NOTHING happens. All of the gates remain closed.
I don't understand. I'm going to finish the other objectives and consider this mission completed, because I am not starting over, unless someone knows a solution to my seemingly unique problem.
Also, where is the
second frobbable book
?
I'm tired of looking.
My guess is that the frobbable book you found was the second of two that exist. If thats the case, the first frobbable book is to the left as you face the second, along a shelf or two over and down a bit if I recall. That one will open a gate to the Soul Heart
that miserable thief,
indeed the two frobbable books are near to each other. And it seems you frobbed the second book. Just look where Clock said ;)
nice missions, i'm enjoying every inch of it!
i just blackjacked every black hammer in the second mission at their little base and if i return to the streets the guards are attacking me, is that normal?

Well if the Mechanists saw you and started yelling after you, the policemen on patrol in the safety aera could have heard them, and so they know you went in a prohibited aera (the security one), and so they're attacking you :cheeky:

This happened to me too. In fact, it was so annoying having the saftey area hostile to me that I restored from an earlier save and made sure I didn't cause any commotion that leaked over into that area.
The fact that they remain hostile after the alert is over is actually one of the few flaws in this great mission.

the weird thing is that nobody saw me and i didn't heard anyone yelling :erg:

I found that the people in the pub (and perhaps the entire safe zone) go hostile after I placed the Keeper's body in Artemus' room. Had you done that as well?
gunk on 24/1/2006 at 19:35
nope, but i gues someone's gotta heard me or see me, maybe some of the archers on higher ground

Well, I got the key from the guarded zone that should open the door in the canal.
I opened the door and saw a strange thief zombie there.
What should I do?
Well, I know that this had been discussed before, but I'm lazy, so, please, forgive me that I didn't search through the pages.
there is another ladder in the tunnel 21, but it's unvoluntary hidden by a texture. Look for a dead end with a red light door and a metal crate in the water nearby. In that dead end, there is a long metal texture that goes through the ceilling with a ladder on it ;)
What the hell ? double post ? how can I delete it ?
