there is another ladder in the tunnel 21, but it's unvoluntary hidden by a texture. Look for a dead end with a red light door and a metal crate in the water nearby. In that dead end, there is a long metal texture that goes through the ceilling with a ladder on it ;)
I started playing the first mission. It is GREAT! It's like... well... mini-Midnight at Murkbell. One of the best FMs I've ever played.
Unfortunately, I have a problem. I think I fullfilled all the objectives, but I am short at loot. I've got a little bit more than 1900. And I need 2000. Is there any loot list avaible? What places with loot could I miss? I tried to open this FM in DromEd, but it seems broken (I've got error message: DromEd can't file some TGA file for cobwebs). Is it possible to get past these gates where some people are? I mean the gates where we could here two guards talking about lord's madness...

Thanks ;)
There are no lootlist for now, I'll work on it when I'll have enough time. Still, here are two places of well hidden loot, which should be enough for you to complete the objective
In the canal, where there is a little stream of water, under a metal bridge near Namez compound. Look behind a broken chair, there is a ring. And in the tower with the sleeping guard and the book "tales of the hammerites", near the "war" conversation. Under a wooden cabinet, behind a scroll, there is a purse (invisible but can be frobbed :ebil: )
You can access my fms throught DromEd (you cheater !), simply press the cancel button when you have the message ;)
And no, you're not supposed to go behind the metal gates you're talking about (still, some taffers broke my fm and went out there with crate climbing  ...)

Thanks ;)
The graphics in this FM can only be compared to Midnight in Murkbell and The 7th Crystal. The colours (particle effects, objects, lights) are great. The design is perfect (wonderful cityscape, multi-leveled grounds, excellent passages between different parts of the town). The ambients are perfectly chosen. It's dark, depressing, scary place. That's exactly the atmosphere I was trying to achieve in my Old Comrades, Old Debts. I was trying, and you... succedeed. Congratulations! I was only disappointed a little bit with the cave (ending). It could be something... hmm... more interesting. ;) But that's really not important. Definitely one of the best FMs ever made! Classic.

Thanks, it did the trick! I finished this FM. But there are 3000 loot to take! Where? Where? And 2 secrets? What are these secrets?

Unfortunately, it does not work. Cancel also makes my DromEd crash.
Now I'm going to play the second part. I can't wait! :)

wow, I'm glad to know that the author of one of the prettiest fm I ever played is enjoying my fms that much :thumb:, thanks again !
And for the cave, well it's already a miracle I could build it, I reached almost all the limits of DromEd :cheeky: I planned to create something at least bigger, but oh well... Curse that great editor :p

I'm going crazy looking for the builder's cathedral! It's weird, I had no trouble with the other objectives (except looking for the entrance to the cellar - just found it!) - even the zombie
in the cage was no trouble - i just ran circles around him until the gate opened high enough to let me creep through. Never expected it to work, but he's so dumb, he never even struck out at me as long as I kept circling him.
I see where someone else asked about the cathedral, but couldn't find your reply to that thread.
DrK on 28/1/2006 at 16:13
as I already said in your new thread... The Builder's cathedral can't be reached in the first mission, it's supposed to appear later in the campaign.
Once you're in the cave, go in the ventilation pipes and the mission is over = go to second mission ;). If you can't finish the mission, then there's at least one objective you didn't complete.
Oh and thanks for the compliments...

Ah, I missed reading that somewhere in those threads. Thanks for the quickness of your reply! I haven't entered the cellar yet as I had to stop the game just at that point - so never learned it would be the end of the mission.
The darkness and nastiness and haphazard jumbled-in-together quality of your construction is perfectly thief-like. Scarey enough that I play with a small light on... You certainly got the Thief community buzzing with the release of these 2 missions.
I hope you keep building!

Yes I do  There are 2 'work in progress' screenshots that were posted in the thread, if you have patience try to find them, I'm lazy right now :cheeky:
And I'm glad you enjoy my fms ;)

I've fulfilled all the objectives in the second FM, but - again! - I don't have enough loot. I gathered only 3281 and I need 4500. :( What could I miss?
