Thanks dk! BTW; is that where the sword is? If so, I've been looking in the wrong area. Thx. again. :thumb:

I was soooooo flippin' scared last night when climbing the ladder down to Tunnel 21 that I kept closing my eyes and finally decided to quit the game for the night
:laff: I love that ! :thumb:
About the sword, in fact there are two quarters in the mission (look at your maps ;) ) and the sword can be found in the second quarter, right after tunnel 21.

These missions have given me a thief feeling that I thought was long lost
That's one hell of a compliment, thanks a lot !!! :D
Btw, part three is at least half built now, and damn I'm happy I managed to force DromEd in my architecture without any crash :p

Thanks again, DrK. BTW; I don't usually play missions with undead or creepystuffthatwillterrifyme, but Rocksbourg 1 was such a treat that I had to play the second part. You are truly a talented author. :thumb:

Obviously a couple of months late at this point, but just plain wow on those screenshots. Downloading as soon as I find the most recent place to download from...

thanks for the compliments Dia, it's always a pleasure to know taffers enjoyed my fms :D
Kamyk, the latest website which host my fms should be the Circle or Thiefmissions. Anyway, since a crc bug, there was no updates, so you can dl them through the various links provided in my first post ;)

OMG: T U N N E L 2 1!! :( There I sat, on top the crate before the first doorway in Tunnel 21, shivering, quivering and shaking, wondering why oh why did I ever let me talk myself into playing this FM through to the end?! MY GOD DR.K! The sounds alone were enough to paralyze me with fear! I just kept thinking, 'Oh God, Oh God, I'm going to die!'. Mustering what little courage I had, I crept down off the crate & proceeded to follow the bloodstains. The sound of running feet immediately propelled me right back up onto my faithful crate and there I sat, peering hard in every direction til my eyes watered, trying to catch a glimpse of the source of those running feet. After what seemed like an eternity, I once again crept down off the crate and proceeded on my chosen path (that first door on the left was especially scary, Dr.K!). At the first intersection I once again looked both ways (lest I get run over by the unseen creature who, from the sound of it, was having some startling thought which was causing it to dash madly about without purpose or destination) and continued to my left. OHMYGODTHESOUNDSAREGETTINGLOUDERSTILL! I paused just after passing through the doorway, crouched in the semi-shadow, once again hearing the oncoming footsteps. Looking wildly about, I still couldn't determine their source. So there I sat as of last night, nine p.m., without flashbombs, invisible potion, fire arrows, or a sword; without hope of making it through this FM and remaining sane. OH SLUGGS (or any other taffer that was totally unfazed by the Cradle) WHERE ARE YOU IN MY TIME OF NEED?? You could brave this part the mission without even breaking a sweat, while I'm practically wetting my pants in fear. (You could even take point for me.) Give me spiders, super-ferocious guards, wild-eyed, gas breathing burricks, a herd of ferrets on cappuccino; ANYTHING other than these haunts which I cannot see!!
I don't remember ever being this scared during a mission; not even in the Cradle. And I know I must return to this tunnel again tonight; I am determined to finish what I started.
After this I shall think nothing of falling down the stairs.
P.S. I never finished the first Rocksbourg because my HD crashed & instead of redownloading R#1 (okay - so I knew there were zombies in it & I hate the undead) I went straight into R#2. You really are gifted and very talented, Dr.K. I'm sorry I'm so zombie/haunt intolerant. :o

Rofl :laff:
Thanks Dia, I read it twice and you made my day !!! I love to read such comments.
Don't understand it wrong, I'm not laughing at you, it's just I never expected to create such a powerfull feel of fear with the tunnel 21 :cheeky: ;)
Too bad you didn't finish the first fm. There's a little misunderstanding btw, there aren't any zombies in the first part, except at the end where there's a little tedious passage, but nothing that bad... :ebil: :p
Dia on 14/3/2006 at 20:23
Why do I not believe you when you say in Pt.1 that it's 'nothing that bad', Dr.K? :weird: Oh well - guess I'll just have to go back & play R#1 - THAT IS IF I EVER MAKE IT OUT OF TUNNEL 21 ALIVE!!!
I'm beginning to think you are the Trickster reincarnate, Dr.K! ;)
OHCRAP! Just found out my husband's leaving on a business trip tomorrow a.m. I've been making him stay in our PC room while I've been down in Tunnel 21. Looks like it's going to take me a lot longer to finish this FM than I thought. :(
