These are both great missions, very atmospheric. Rocksbourg feels like exactly the kind of steampunk warren where the likes of Garrett would be at home - I didn't think the original Thief 2 city levels where lacking anything until now. I'm in awe of your layout skills.
I have only one suggestion. Make stuff easier to find. Is it just me, or when you turn the gamma all the way up and painstaking click your way over every square inch of a room, and still don't find the switch/key/widget until the third pass (or not at all), is it a little too well-hidden? I had this problem on both missions. A random (but critical) key lying almost invisible under the water in a canal?
The living keeper is in the second part of the city, near one of the two stairs leading to the black market. this is the one near the robot and sleeping sergeant. Above the stairs there is some kind of a wooden house, with a ladder nearby. Go up and there you go.

To open the secret door in tunnel 13, look at a vertical pipe just nearby : in the water just behind it there is a switch.
For the loot there is a lootlist on thiefmissions.com for both my fms. Just try your best with it, but keep in mind I'm sick when I hide things (for example, at the very beginning of the mission there is a statue in a corner : just behind on the ground there is a gemring...) :cheeky:
For the secretdoor on the ledge, just look behind the pipes nearby for a switch.
About the clanging doors you mentioned at the end, Well there shouldn't be clanging as they were made of brushes, not objects... :weird: Anyway you can't (shouldn't ?) open them.
And thanks for the compliments, glad you enjoy the atmosphere I tried to put in them :D. I thought T2 layouts were a little too simple, too linear maybe (LTOP was made of huge cubes close to each others for me...). So I decided to push it a little, to make it look like a real maze (furthermore, this was a symbol of Garrett in a new town = doesn't know the place = get lost easily...)
I know things are too well hidden in my fms, I've been told maaany times already. Well these were my first fms, I was still a noob when creating them. I'm trying to correct this for the next ones :)

just curious,
the background music that plays when you read a parchment, is that from max payne?

Wrong, from one of the Silent Hill games (can't remember if it was from the 2nd or 3rd in the series). ;)

Just finished the first mission. Abso-bloody-lutely great!
Like an idiot, did 90% of it with only blackjack because I missed the gear stash.
Dealt with the zombie with all the food in my right hand and noisemaker arrows in the left. Seemed to work OK. D'loading the second right now.

I finished the first one today, I did the reverse, and started with #2. Knowing his building style, I knew to look around for those elusive keys. I had no problem finding those keys! Surprised me. I was jumping over walls evading the AI, toying with them, having a ball. I found my way around the streets pretty well, no problem. Much fun to be had!
Now for the shadow level to play with.
Bloody hell, that cellar key. :ebil: You sicko you DrK. Loved it. :D

It's great to know there are at least a few taffers who can handle my keyhunt !
I'm glad you both enjoyed the fm, canetoad and BrokenArts (canetoad, sorry for the inconvenience, I thought that hook was obvious, maybe I should have put a note about it somewhere in the appartment...)

sorry to drag this up, but if you need anymore translators for any of your later missions I'll be willing to give it a go...
