I already have the key, but I can't find the sewer entrance. I must have gone up and down that street ten times now, climbed up and found the golden hammer, gone into the machine room near the far end of the street and up the stairs, down into the sewer trough there and found the two notes about windows, etc. I've been down into the lower area just next to the inn (where the rooftop entrance to the inn can be accessed). I haven't seen a frobbable door anywhere that I haven't already gone through, except for the one at the inn. I'll go back and look again, though. :erg:

To find the sewer entrance, go in front of the inn entrance. Then go down the street, there is a drunk guy walking around, just follow him.
At a moment, this guy goes at a city gate and talks to a policeman who yells at him. In front of that city gate there is a bridge with a little canal under it. Go into the water, and you'll find the entrance of the sewers (tunnel 21) on one of the sides of the canal.

Thank you.
I must be blind. I've been down there ten times. Maybe the eleventh time will be the trick. :tsktsk:
.....Blind it is, then. :laff: I wonder how much longer it would have taken for me to see it? These 53-year-old eyes just aren't what they used to be.
These are great missions, by the way. Absolutely first-rate. But this makes me realize just how much of my taffing skill has come from being so familiar with the original missions.

AAAAAAAAAEEEEEOUGHHHHHHHHHHRARARARARGH!
Turn the lights off, please turn the lights off! I don't wanna...I don't wanna see...let me just huddle down here in the dark water. And, uh, I'll just stay here, okay?
Cool.

Oh, yes. I love the pitter patter of invisible feet. Ever so much more terrifying than something you can see.
There's also a sound effect in this mission that was reminiscent of the old movie The Haunting of Hill House, the banging noise. It reminded me of the scene in which you can hear the haunt running up and down the hallway outside a bedroom where two women huddle together in terror with the lights on. The footsteps stop just outside the bedroom. There's a heavy silence, and you think it might be over, you hope it is...but after a few seconds the door handle rattles quietly. It's locked, you know it's locked, you're pretty sure nothing can get in, and then the banging starts, loud enough that you think the door will burst open. It goes on and on, building and building -- and then stops, abruptly. The most frightening thing about that film is that you never actually see anything, you just hear it, and the fear is all in your mind. That's what I like about this mission-- the suggestion of something just around the corner, waiting.
I'm stuck again, though. I've fulfilled all of the objectives except for returning the dead Keeper to Artemus. I can't find him. There are the two blocked glyph gates atthe entrance to the Library, and I thought that these gates might be opened through book switches in the Library, but the only book switch I found was the one for the Soul. I have the key to tunnel 13, I found a lot of loot, and I even found four of the secrets, but I can't find the dead Keeper.
Edit...I'll keep looking, and no doubt will find him in plain sight tomorrow night as soon as load up my game. Good secrets, by the way. I found three of them without help. I know about the other two because I looked through this thread. I'm not sure where the fifth one is, though. I'll have a look-see tomorrow.
Argh. I found Samael and took him back to Arteumus' room, but the quest doesn't update. Am I supposed to take him somewhere else? Artemus' note does say to bring the Keeper back to his room.

Well that's pretty new to me
Maybe something went wrong during the install of the mission. How did you launch the mission, through darkloader, garrettloader ?
And besides the objectives, can you read books ingame ?
There is no german version of my fms, because unfortunately I don't speak german. Therefore there are 2 versions, french and english. If you have the french version of the game, it installs the french version of the mission, otherwise it's automaticaly the english ("international") version which is installed.
I don't think this is related to my missions only, you should ask a german taffer about it and see how to solve it. I know there are german forums somewhere on the internet, they might help you better than me. ;)

Just wonder if this is the right link for the english version , cause other english FM`s alike Mystic Gems I & II works fine for me with english objektives.
