Look under a crate.

You're right about the smuggler's, they are the black guys. To find the diamond:
small hint:
Look in the room above the room where the 3 smuggler's are
big hint:
take a look beneath a crate that can be moved, opposite to the door leading to the accounting office

I just finished playing this series for the first time. And I was so engrossed. It is classic thief at its best with total replay value. Will be playing it again to get all loot. :thumb: Awesome work !!!! Kudos to the creator!

I must be really missing something.
I reach the crate and my objective is completed. Also drop the label, completing another objective. Then i frob the crate and... what? I'm holding a side of the crate, i can throw it, or put it down, but i don't get how to put it back in place. Frustrating, i've been fiddling with it for days...

You can't put it back in place, just crawl inside the crate and if your other objectives are complete the mission will end.

I'd played the first three missions before, but now I can't complete the third mission because I've forgotton where the potable water is. Can anyone give me a hint? :(
EDIT: Nevermind, I found it in the bottom of the big submarine.

It is on the lowest deck of the Argonaut in one of the three storage compartments.

Give me the dunce cap because I can't find the original mission of Ocean Freight anywhere. Was this the actual name of the fan mission? I am ready to check out on this 2nd mission except I would like to find the key to a certain blue chest before I move on.
as per the usual for everyone, I found the key within 3 minutes of posting. Still am curious, tho, about why I can't find Ocean Freight anywhere. I haven't even played this mission before and I thought I had done all of them.

Do you refer to the blue chest in the secret part of Gamver's office? If so, one smuggler in the same warehouse has the key.
You can't find a seperate download of Ocean Freight because it has never been release as a single mission.

Thanks for answering. Yes, I found the key almost immediately after posting (see edit above). I was just going to post that I also found the original missions. Talk about needing a dunce cap! I misunderstood the info about this mission. Thought the "Keeper Investigations" was the new title that had brought in older missions with other original titles. Didn't think to look under "Keeper". Wonder how I missed those first missions last year???? :o Thanks again.
