If you didn't mean the place ShadowWolf421 described, then this might be the answer  :
you will have to find the
"bridgehouse" key. To obtain it you need to find a small balcony first, situated very close to the starting point. You can get up there by sinking a rope arrow on the railing, alternatively you can jump from a nearby roof. Once you get there, go to the top floor and you'll find a man sleeping. Search carefully his bed for a secret switch. That will give you access to the key. Once you have it, unlock the door downstairs and you'll be close to the tavern. Just around the corner is a drunk man and a guard. Also, from that place you can see through the taverns window a woman inside. To your right is another locked door. Unlock it with the "bridgehouse" key and frob the switch in there.
This one is a real challenge. You can get in everywhere, but how to do it? Ropes, roofs, pipes, doors, windows, rivers, sewers - you name it!
The more you explore, the more intriguing it gets - well done, uncadonego. :thumb:

Looks like i was wrong in my answer, ShadowWolf421 got it right. This one's exactly like it was described in the readme file: looks easier at first sight but its packed. It was great :thumb: I have a question. I
saw a set of double doors from one of the second floor windows of the house opposite the tavern. It was south iirc.
Is it possible to get down there? I tried to jump from a nearby balcony to the wall but felt an "invisible" wall prevented me from going there

You can't get there above ground..... The invisible wall stops you falling off the map.

After a long swim
You come upon a thiefs room and he questions the wisdom of putting a hideout in a storm drain. He says he can make a quick getaway and I see the way but something is blocking the exit. My question is there a switch from below or can it only be done from above?
Thanks M
One more question, how do you get into the police station?
Sorry nevermind. :o
