I am in
an underground room which I got to by swimming through an opened hatch from the canal. It has two red rock things at the bottom of the water and a ledge at either side of the room. Can you go anywhere from here?
Mary
I am trying to swim thru the now open canal door and I come to what appears to be a dead end. I assume I have to dive down, but which way do I go? . It is so dark in there I don't know whether to go left, right or straight on, I can,t see anything. Advice please.
Also, how do I get into the jewellers shop ?

Only started this FM 3 days ago and I'm stuck. I've got the canal door open but it is so dark in there
I can't see what to do, do I dive down, and if so which direction do I go ?.
My other problem is, how do I get into the Jewellers shop ?

Have you got your gamma turned up as far as you can? If not, that might make it a bit easier to tell where you are. It's been years since I've played this so I don't remember if there are any flares available but if there are, they would help as well.
Once you hit the dead end, you dive down and ahead for just a second. When you stop again, turn south and continue going down and ahead for a bit then straight ahead until you emerge into a larger room. Once you get to it, there's a bit of light so you might be able to find your way after that point.
As for the jewellery store, I think you find a key once you get through the canal area.

Challenging mission, with a lot of humour ( you will see what I mean when you get to the post office and read some letters ).
I'm playing through some older missions at the moment, this is one I can definitely recommend :thumb:
Just downloaded the other missions of uncadonego, seems to become a thievy sunday afternoon

I always like it when someone plays one of my old missions and comments on it.:)

I have just been playing this FM and had to register to tell you that of all the FM's I have played yours are consistently the most enjoyable. I came to thief FM late and I see all the posts are year(s) old, but I thought you would like to know that you have a bit of immortality here. People will be playing and enjoying your FM work forever!

What you say is this inspires you to make more FM's! You could complete the storyline from Two Fathers and The Time That Has Passed....or have Garrett visit all of Kevel's lovers (Your sense of humor is sublime! I laughed my A$$ off when I found out why all the ladies say "Is that you Kevel?"). You could show a guard training school with them all practicing shaking their fists.....
But my all time favorite is Chain of Events. It has it all; EVERY building is working, there are sewers and rooftops, Robots, guards, and story! The only thing missing is undead (I love exploding them with fire arrows!)
