Wow, a wonderful mission. Thank you, Uncadonego. Finished it on expert, but still miss 2 secrets and short more than 500 loot. One question: In the prison-guards sleeping room is a small iron "door" in the upside of a rafter. Is there a way to open it / is it a secret??
Edit: Problem solved. :eww:

I too failed to find 2 secrets but i think i ended up short 104 loot. Don't really want to go back because i might hate the mission if i don't find them all :laff:
EDIT: Make that 99, i found a
coin in the market area (close to the sewer cover)
For those who can't open the small panel on the rafter of the prison't top floor (with the two guards sleeping), try
positioning yourself with the rafter on your back. You should now be facing the door frame with a torch just to its right. Frob the left corner of the door frame at the exact point where it meets the roof of the room. It looked like a blind frob, be sure to be close enough
That gave me a TL but 8/9 secrets :grr:

As usual, I'm doing really badly on loot. I only have about 1400, with six secrets found.
I haven't been able to get into the Duplex, the Tavern, or the Jewelry Store; I have the key for that last one, but I can't even find the building! I read somewhere it was "across the street" from the jail, but I can't find any building across the street (or river) from the jail that has a frobable door that opens to the Jewelry Store key.
I also haven't been in the Collector Tower Building -- I think. I don't really know what it is, so I don't know if I've been in it. I found the bottle of Rogaine, the letter revealing the boss (I gave it to Lonzboy), and the letter with the jewelry-store safe code; unless there is a third new objective, I've done everything except the loot requirement, the remaining secrets, and getting into the crate... though I'm not sure which one is the one I need to get into (I know where the crates are).
Any suggestions on finding and getting inside the buildings above? I'm currently in the residence near the Tavern, in the back room, looking at the back (river) side of the Duplex.
Thanks,
Dafydd

Dafydd-
Tavern-jump in canal---climb ladder to back door of tavern. Rope arrow the window lintel of the open window of the tavern tower. Hop in through the window.
Duplex-go into the house where Ffox lives next door to the tavern. Stand on the bathroom window ledge and shoot a rope arrow at the plant stand on the back wall of the duplex. Jump in the water, climb the rope arrow, and hop over the bottom floor balcony.
Jewellery store is one of the doors under the upstairs offices, in front of the stairway coming up from the canal across from the prison. -It is the second door away from you at your starting point in the back alley.
The collector tower building is the building to the east of the bridgehouse (check map) with a collector tower on the roof.
The crate you need to get into is the only one large enough to stand in and close the lid. It's an 8X8 crate.
aville- if you look carefully, you can actually see the switch.

Congrats, aville, for that perfect loot. I had a lot of fun putting my nose in each and every corner. This truly is a good place for explorers. Still short 200, but i´m thinking about a restart and to try a ghost.
Hehe, small mission ?? ´Til now, i have 3h 32min playing time. :cheeky:

A lovely mission. One of the great things about it was that all the buildings were accessible one way or another. Lots of sneaky switches and lots of almost invisible ladders. Thankyou for this great little (?) mission. Thanks also to the taffers who posted hints to help us on our way.
Mary. :D

uncadonego, i'll check it again. That particular secret felt hard, though i like a bit of a challenge so...make it even harder next time :ebil:
Thanks UliB :cheeky: I agree, taffers should take seriously the "more than meets the eye" warning in the readme. I got two and a half hours into that mission and the "problem" as usual is when you feel you've been everywhere and done everything but your loot says "no you didn't" :ebil: It's at that part that things might go wrong for me if i go back, search more and come up with nothing. Thank the Builder i went back and found my money :laff:

What a clever mission!!! Even if I AM one secret short and about $400. My question is a possible hang-up with the powerhouse.
I have not been able to access either the powerhouse or the upstairs of the shops using those metal catwalks between the two buildings. The catwalk that is on the south side of the power building allows one to look in a large rectangular window. I can see a guard with a key through this window. Unfortunately, he is hung up on a metal railing and does not move off of it. I THINK if he were walking around he might pass this window (which is now broken) so I can grab the key. Is this guard SUPPOSED to be walking around so I can do that?
If that isn't the way in, I guess I need some help here.
