This is a really neat mission, thanks, uncdonego!
And I think I just knocked out Freddy's old man, his mum and his sister, in fact, his whole family...:cheeky: I'm so sorry, Freddy
Ha! I even knocked the little Pagan girl out - to steal her doll!
Beat this!

Can't deny that this FM and TotT are both excellent. Well done to both designers.
Can anyone tell me where the duplex is in this mission?

If you turn left when entering the bridgehouse and follow the street, it should lead to the Duplex / Armory place.
I played this the other day - over 2 hours for such a relatively small mission, great job! I really like those "human" readables too, particularly the 2 diaries in that "Ffox" house. Normally I wake up sleeping NPCs and knock them out (just to be on the safe side), but that poor kid and his dad! It really made me pity them, so they were one of the few NPCs I left alone in the entire map! It reminds me of a similar dilemna I had in Thief 3 with the Widow Moira.
Anyway, great job! :)

I found my bag of loot. And my alter ego. Whom I then knocked out.
Thanks uncadonego! This was fun but with all the backtracking, the old blackjack got quite a workout.

That's such a nice idea, uncadonego, thank you very much! :)
It's a great mission, with all those different ways to enter the buildings and I really love the possibility to gain access to everything! It gives me a very realistic feeling to operate in a small area, where everything has it's own use.
So, I collected my cut .... I'll better go back and collect it for the others as well :sly:

The duplex's entrance faces the weapon store.

Lot of places to explore, many rooftops, a lot of "which way to do it" puzzles, shortly very well done.
Thanks Uncadonego !

Lotta thanks there, so I held off replying a bit for brevity. You are welcome...Roz, bassmanret, Wolfie, CampaignJunkie, Norman Druart, snowcap21, and pnowak. ;)
Glad so many are enjoying it. If you think this scratched your "rooftops itch", well, I don't even consider this mission a real rooftops mission. The next one, you'll be 25 feet off the ground making window jumps, and sometimes even 75 or 80 feet standing on a window ledge unlocking a window. My wife started getting motion sickness when I ran her through it. (She really ought to learn the controls herself, it would lessen the problem greatly). :eww:

LeBaron-you sneaky devil! You found a way out of the world! There's usually always somewhere the author overlooks. ;)
I did wonder if you were supposed to do that...
The fact the streets over the other side looked crap so I din't go there and the invisible wall kind of made me think it was accidental :P!
uncadonego on 3/7/2005 at 03:20
Yeh I only bothered to construct the one street over on that side, because you can see it from the window of Ffox's upstairs hallway and the duplex balconies. Everything else I didn't even touch. Not only that, if you hopped down there you would find that you can run straight through the buildings and they disappear while you're inside them.
