:( You can't forget about that, can you?
Seriously, tho, this mission seems simple enough, tho I was a little busy at the time, so I didn't get far into it.

What an interesting mission, hehe. I just didn't liked the futuristic elements like spaceship and radio in the readables, but in other stuff it is fairly interesting and beautiful.
And there's part 2!
Hmm, i think I've never finished a first time playing mission this fast- 7 minutes. :O Well, i was extreme on this one, had a dozen of haunts running after me when i jumped down in the 2 sarcaphagous (or whatever u spell it) areas, but i managed to actually mantle one place in it from my death-jump and then i jumped to the long ladder and climbed down. Then i found a key randomly (didn't really pay attention to 6th tip at that time), then i read about it and simply ran to the east. :D
I love it when I get so lucky in a mission.
Looks like I'll be able to slash some orcs in part 2. :)
I really kind of disagree with some of the hardcore critics that posted here. I think it was good.
Now to experience it in daylight. :)
Edit: Also, i took that advice of yours to turn ambient sounds louder and they really are pretty good (imwo). Did i miss it in all the other FMs too?

I agree with you Thor02, it is an excellent mission, and the style is unique and shows the originality, and creativity of the Author. It was designed for fun, and is a different style of play. A Thief isn't always going to have dim light and shadow to cover him/her self. Sometimes you either run or fight to survive. Garrett is on another planet, and the light there would certainly be different than it would be on earth.
I beta tested this mission, and it was certainly one of the most fun missions to test, and I really appreciate Cardia1's Artistic Flavor in Atmosphere and in Music. The AI are also Cool. It was created for a Challenge, and that it is!
It isn't everyones game, but for some of us, it is Cool!:thumb:

Well, yeah. I have a theory... this mission was more for action type of game than stealth. But for us cowards who always hide in the shadows it's certainly... interesting i guess. Though i won't find the correct word to describe it at the moment.
I think I'm almost done with haunt slashing in pt2, now just to figure out or read spoilers here on how to get the 2 things.
Anyway, long story short, thank you, cardia1. I'll be playing some of your missions more often now. :sly:

I agree that this is a very fun mission if you like this kind of gameplay for a change, but just for the record, it is also possible to ghost both missions. :thumb:

Really? I'll have to try that out later...

when the dead (which they usually always are) face your way they always get you :grr:
It's time to learn a new skill. I admit that this mission is tough, but you have to be aggressive with the haunts. It's not exactly my preferred playing method, but I'm still able to do it. :)

I would have finished this mission that very same day, if dad wouldn't be feeling like making my next 5 days an absolute total and utter misery. Those are my complaining bits.
[The_important_part]Now - I'm basically stuck in the same place where someone else was stuck (in the room where i must to something to my advantage and then run north), flipped the switch and now I'm left clueless. [/The_important_part]
P.S. I never found the rope arrow. I've been frobbing ceiling switches purely on my acrobatic skills. :D (I even noticed myself the switch in the first room before pool room, in the ceiling)
Edit: Mkay, got the rope arrows... Not going to do me much good though.
Edit2: Ok nevermind my idiocracy. The running to north was just a
MORAL BOOOSTSIES
lol.
Edit3: Yay! Finished. :P A beautiful mission. (Well, 2 missions, 1 basic map)

I have been searching the ceiling in the bed room for the switch above door without success. Am I missing something?
darthsLair on 26/6/2009 at 13:08
QUOTE=Tannar;1850556]If you flip those switches in the proper order, the armoir moves and there is a key in a wall niche behind it. This key is to the door next to the first bedroom you were able to enter. Once in that room, above the door is a switch. You will have to rope arrow up to it. Then exit the room, turn right and look up. That should give you what you need to get into the library.
