I just want to say, that I also have the problem that the death talsiman disappears, once I pick the other ones. I play with version 1.1.
Really sad, because I enjoyed the mission thus far but I don't want to begin with it again(I only play with quicksave :( ).

are you sure you didn´t use a quick save from a previous version?

Yes I am sure. I never installed a previous version and my FM fanloader also says it's v 1.1.

damm i´ll have to make a new update and find a new safe way to acquire the death talisman.

Again i had to update the mission for the same issue regarding the death Talisman, therefore i found a way that it can´t make it buggy, before the talisman had to be teleported, now the talisman is already accessible as you first see it on the pedestal.
link to mission updated (v1.2)

I'm running version 1.2, and there is still something wrong with the Death Talisman. When I entered the tomb area, the first thing I did was take the Death Talisman. Then, I went and got the other three talismans after placing all of the remains jars on the pedestals. Now what? The elevator is still covered by the translucent window.
I could remove it via Dromed, but I'm writing a walkthrough. Is there something I forgot to do?

In order to remove the translucent window you need to
kill all the Monks undeads

If I understand the objective correctly, the Golden Chalice can only be had if you destroy the 4 glyphs in a certain order. The book in the library is supposed to provide a clue on this, but it's either badly written or changes were made during beta. Here's what it says:
Quote:
...the first glyph appears in the guards quarters, the second in the prison, the third in the church and lastly in the 4 Apocalypse Horsemen tombs entrance...
One is near the wine cellar. Another is in Lord Carmac's bathroom. There is none in the church or in the horsemen tomb area.
Quote:
...every glyph appears in the ceiling of each area...
The only thing on the ceilings are those masks that have to be shot with holy water arrows. The glyphs themselves are all on walls within secret areas.:confused::confused:
The Gold Chalice objective should be optional, since the player can screw up the glyph order out of confusion. When you shoot all 4 glyphs, regardless of order, a SFX (m10buzz.wav) plays, indicating success.
The only way to get around all of this is to NOT shoot any glyphs until the end. But this would only cause the player more grief by having to retrace his/her steps to find the things.
