http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f46/lightningline/astsrt.jpgIts a start :p ...thanks for the new mission. Actually I made it to the stairs just killing the guy at the start of the hall but I wanted those purple money bags....he he ! I lost a bit of health though...oh well I still have 2 potions.....I used just my sword so far. I see the Q-3 influence and those nightmare bots can be a bitch. I am going to continue now. Thanks again....for now.
if you place a skeleton in each corner of the star pentagram you will open a portal to hell:ebil: :joke:
In the beginnig you could let yourself stay in the shadows and toss some explosive mines just like i´ve said here before, and if you see that one of those skeletons were walking towards then you would shoot a noise arrow oposite them to distract them, i can destroy the skeletons from the entrance hall without being seen , or like Tafferjim said you could
gather a few skeletons around you and toss a flashbomb in front of them till they would die
The only good skeleton is a dead skeleton.
OK....lying on the ground not moveing skeleton.

You mean dead dead right? because they start off dead in the first... *walks off mumbling confused*

Well, well, Cardia1, since you wanted to express yourself in your architecture, you succeeded beautifully. I was very impressed!
While I would rather be a sneeksy thief than a fighter, I managed to hold my own. After a bit I got tired of the killing and turned to something else.
It was fairly easy getting past the first door. I crept to the corner nearest the doorway and fired a noise arrow across the room. When all 4 skeletons investigated, I slipped through the doorway...and waited. After they settled down, and resumed their walking on the far side, I was able to sneak up and whack the skeleton standing in the doorway. As the others were alerted, I managed to finish off the three.
As the clue tells you, the bowmen can be killed with one arrow to the head. In one area, I shot a rope arrow into a low beam and climbed up to where I could get a good shot at the bowmen. Then I lobbed mines at the skeletons on the level below them. It worked, but that is the only area I have found with lower beams.
When my heart rythmn returns, I will try to finish the job. :erm:
Thank you for a nerve-wracking espisode...NOT.
P.S. Really, it is very creative, but not at all like Thief.

You can use the ramp to crouch under and take out a few AI as they stand there. If you're not too close to them they won't swing back. Also very effective is making noise to attract an AI then hiding around a corner and slashing them as they near that corner. Time your hits well and they will never see you. If you're one on one with an AI it's pretty easy to just get and stay behind them and whack away because they won't just do a 180 where they stand.
The haunt properties of the skeletons made them bleed when hit.

Thanks Dawggon for your acompliments, my purppose in this mission was to make the player to fight with pleasure in order to explore new areas and apreciate my Architecture along with its ambient, maybe be not a t2 tipical fm, but that´s because Garret is not used to face this kind of situations, but we need to make Garret challenge all kind of Dangerous, and he is our hero, so we all want to know that he is able to get rid of any trouble even if he´s between the sword and the wall wich is almost what happens in this mission where Garret has many times no other choice than to fight. Let´s not forget that Garret was tossed into this arena as a convict to die in the hands of these executioners skeletons.
My next mission will be a guess a tipical t2, dedicated to Gloria Creepp teddy Bears, a haunted mansion with flying harmless ghost teddy bears, but before i build that mission i´m going to take a break of 15 days i need to rest and i need to make some gynastic i got a big belly after droming so much.

Thanks JewelThief now that´s what i call pure turism;) , being free to wander around to explore new places and apreciate its architecture without having the trouble to fight. ;)
I also confess that i did that in a few fms, when i got stucked because of a locked door or something else that was stopping me to apreciate the rest of the mission i runed dromed and explore what i couldn´t explore :)

Well the mission itself was pretty straightforward, but I was too busy trying to stay alive to really drink the scenery in.;) Some of those old quake textures gave it an HR Giger type feeling-cool but spooky!

At least you had fun running away from the skelletons:laff: , i understand ,this is not a tipical t2 mission, but don´t worry my next mission will be a t2 tipical mission, i´ve just made this mission because i wanted to know how far can my imagination go in architechture, i love quake 3 architecture, and no matter how many people don´t like this kind of missions i will do more, because i like to express the art of architecture in this missions, and ofcourse i will make also t2 tipical thiefmission because i love Thief.
This is a good example of my self-opinion:
1. I hate these kind of missions.
2. I see the first room - it really looks like start of the mission with plenty of undead.
3. Althought I understand the point "2.", I start with the playing.
4. A heart attack is nearby, I´m so scared, that I can´t quit during the running.
5. Serve me right!
I´m looking forward for your another mission (more typical Thief, I hope):thumb:
