As far as getting up into the high portions of the towers:

There's a ledge somewhat near a corner tower or two. This ledge is at one end of the exposed outdoor corridors between castle and tower areas (maybe both ends), and has the near corner beveled off, so to speak. You can mantle up onto it-- then, maybe body-stacking (precariously) on that metal-topped ledge would get you high enough where you could reach that one pointy outcropping just above you...? Unless invisible walls were employed, lol ... :cheeky:

Hey Cardia1: One way to "hide" a rope arrow in a mission, I'm thinking, is to make an archer "carry them around", although there are no arrows available in his quiver for Garrett to take. One would have to get this archer to take shots at you, and that shot arrow would be a rope arrow (just as deadly, lol)! To retrieve it, Garrett would just have to make it where the archer's missed shot lands in wood nearby his head (something he ducks behind, the edge of a wall, that sort of thing), then Garrett retrieves it and has one for use! Cool, huh? :D That's assuming what I stated is even possible...

Now, that doesn't get you up into/onto the crenellated tower itself, but it gets you higher... And I stuck an archer body where you'd stack the bodies...it takes a real friend to help you with *that*! :D

ahhh that spot, yes , it is possible to climb it indeed , and if you know how to do the Garrett´s long jump then you surely be able to climb places that other players can´t :D

i´m playing the witcher for the firat time, the first mission has a beautiful castle map with a warn sunset light, this reminded me "the lost castle" i love the castle of thie witcher game, you have to play it if you like rpgs

pssst, and theres´s sexy charater called Triss Merigold, she does wonders in wither 2 :D

Can someone please help me out with the serial number needed to get into the vault? I found all four keys and opened the first door with the levers. I've blackjacked everyone (except the nude girl in the tub for esthetic reasons). I can't figure it out. I've found the 1st and 4th parchments but cannot locate 2 & 3.
I figure that 8 days a week song on the vicktrola is either number 2 or 3.
I've been over the castle top to bottom several times, but I must be missing something.

I'm also way short on loot, I hope the mother lode is in the vault along with the emerald.

Thanks Cardia1, I got it. I really liked it, very enjoyable mission. Now back to the beginning to see if I can ghost it :D
