Just walkin' around. :cheeky: I tried to make several screenshots, but those guys just didn't want to pose for me.
I didn't find key #4 in
the fireplace, but only a hint for the numbers. And the guard at the very back, I think you mean that guy at the walls, in the tower. I got his key, it was #3. not the tower of the front gate, in the backi´m going to check in my mission anyway...
Yes i know its hard to make someone pose for a photogtraph, special me that i love to photograph animals, its hard to make them stand still:sweat:
best thing to do is use a flashbomb, they´ll pose for a few seconds:)

Please forgive me if this question has already been asked, but is this a T1 or a T2 mission. The title says T2, but in DarkLoader it shows up with the T1 logo and I am unable to load the mission.
Thanks in advance for any assistance and, again, my apologies if someone has already asked this.

v4.3. I did notice that in DarkLoader it's titled Return of Ramirez. I believe that I downloaded it from a mirror site earlier in this thread. Perhaps that's my problem. Doh!

Cardia,
Thanks for helping me, but I just downloaded the file from another mirror site listed later in this thread and all is OK. That was my problem. The first mirror site had the wrong file. Sorry for my confusion. I haven't played The Lost Castle yet, but I love all of your missions. Thanks for all of your hard work and creativity!

Question out of curiousity - I got the lever puzzle right on the first attempt, and I based it on the following:
Someone's diary mentioned changing the order because anyone who wasn't deaf would be able to figure it out. For whatever reason, I immediately thought of that four-note melody that plays over-and-over throughout the entire level. So, I matched the pitch to the sequence (second highest, highest, second lowest, lowest) ie, switch 3,4,2,1 and lo-and-behold, that worked.
Was I right in that this was the way to figure it out, or was it just a coincidental and lucky guess?

In one of the towers I see a ladder over an open roof "window". Is there a way to get up there or is it just for atmosphere?
Also, I'm seriously low on loot, more than 2000. Did I miss a big stash somewhere?

No one has been able to figure out a way up to the ladders - they seem to be a set decoration only.
Regarding Loot:
if you've reached the Emerald room, be sure to grab all three paintings on the wall in there - I don't remember how much loot I had going in, but those paintings were worth TONS of loot. Some other out of the way stuff:
Dishes in the kitchen sink
A ring in one of the toilet stalls (I think)
Most of the rooms on the second floor had rings and such on the tables.
There were some cups around the sofas in the dining and music room areas
In one of the far back store-rooms, there was a statue behind one of the crates.
