Well, after reading this whole thread I still cannot figure out the following:

- How to get the rubble to the pedestal to get the talisman;
- How to make use of this portal? I got a lit candle, I can see that I can switch between an "atrium" and a "library" in case of the portal, but I cannot see how does that help me besides of shortening routes, routes that I already don't understand and just going around for ever. :) I also got the nine black keys and "cleared" the way related to them.

edit: how on earth the player should figure out that he needs to run into the atrium/library after setting the portal power to off? Anyway, this did the trick. Very, very clever and nice mission!

Glad you got it sorted out! The running through the portal as it turns off trick is not necessary for the rubble puzzle. The portal to the atrium brings you to the other side of the bridge so you can just drop the rubble in the atrium, then turn the portal off, and go the long way, jumping across the bridge to get back to the atrium.
