Can CombatBots use other motion tags other than Search?
It is what the OM used in that repeating Bot conversation in the Bank.
None of the conv XX are compatable with the Bots... Search is the only common one?

Get the motion tag database we digested (it's on my web site). You can see which motion tags are allowed for bots, and even which motions they are (so you can view it in the motion editor).
I'm about to start driving for most for the rest of the day, so I can't do more than that until tomorrow. I'll look at the motions for bots tomorrow and see if I can post a list.

(except: PlaySpecMotion which didn't do anything)
Search
Discover
Crumple
ReceiveWound
RangedCombat
I ALSO NOTICED THAT WHEN I RAN THE RANGEDCOMBAT MOTION, IT PLAYED THE WEAPON-POWER sounds... SO maybe since Burricks DON'T HAVE special ranged attack motions, they cannot have weapon load sounds (FOR MY LAVABURRICKS)
Hmmmmmm

I did some digging around in the motion database. I think these are all the motion tags you can use for droids (bots).
PlaySpecMotion 0
Locomote 0, LocoUrgent 0
Locomote 0, LocoUrgent 0, Maintenance 0
Locomote 0, Direction 4
Locomote 0
Stand 0
Search 0
Discover 0
Crumple 0
ReceiveWound 0, MeleeCombat 0
ReceiveWound 0
RangedCombat 0, Security 0
RangedCombat 0, Maintenance 0
RangedCombat 0, Assault 0
Sorry the list is so small. If there are others in the motions.crf file, we'll be able to play with them when I finish the Motion Database editor.
Ah, I noticed something. The PlaySpecMotion for a Droid is the same as the standard Droid Stand 0 motion. So you won't see anything happen.

Thanks! I was wondering what was going on...
In the syntax of a conversation I do not include the 0, so it defaults to 0?
For example:
The Bots: search (rotate arms horizonally)
Defaults to search 0?
In my conversation:
Play
Field1:c2404
Field2:LineNo 3
Field3:Search
(as well as other motions)
Field1:c2404
Field2:LineNo 3
Field3:Discover (Back-up 4 paces)
Cool!
Now I was wondering if Burricks have any motions?
I mean from what I understand you can implement melee attacks (quite humorous), but does it has ranged?
It burrick motions have melee (default) and no ranged motions, it would explain why my lava-burrick "caugh-a-loogie" sound doesn't work.

A bit of necro here.
Has anyone put together a list of all the motion tags for the non-human AIs? For example if you want a burrick or bot to visibly frob a switch, is there a motion tag to use for that? I've not seen anything comprehensive that includes spiders, spider bots, combat bots, burricks, etc.. Is there one such list somewhere?
Yandros on 17/5/2016 at 01:15
My comprehensive list covers the standard human motions in the GMDB only.

Wouldn't that be achieved by taking shadowspawns motion list and looking for the
+Droid
+Mechspid
+...
For new motions
---------------------
I want to take up a sleeping robot with the reversed crumple motion, is there are an 'easy' way to do this?
BTT:
You could also write/search for a macro which for exel/calc which deletes the lines(found one in german but I don't have JRE to run it.
As you asked for burrick tags:
