What the heck? O_O Never seen that before.

My first guess would be that you and the host have different motiondb.bin files. I've never seen anything like that happen before though, so I can't be sure. Whatever the problem is, it's definitely due to you and the host having differing files, so as a last resort you could always try reinstalling the game.

hey i just had an idea
: though i don't know if this would work
: what if you were able to implement both options? WITH mouse, and without mouse? and then the player can just choose which to use...
Regarding FMs and multiplayer: If all FMs had decent automap support, I would definitely say: do it the no-mouse way. But since most FMs precisely don't use automap, I think having an option is the best idea. But is it possible? I think giving the player the option to play with or without the mouse would make gameplay more versatile. Each player could decide on their style. Besides, many FMs don't use the automap function, and many also have more than one pages which the player needs to access at the same time. Having both options would make more maps compatible with your (incredibly cool) multiplayer mod.
What about using a special toggle key to have the mouse appear, like in SS2 (I think it was ALT?).
If giving the option is not possible, well, I'd insist you use the no-mouse method, despite loosing in playing ability. Not having full control over the mission maps could be an important loss. I remember cycling through the maps in Craigscleft, for example: all helped me. One map shows the mountain side, and vertical progression, and one shows the birds eye layout...
sNeaksieGarrett: thanks for linking to page 12!

It seems with the new Build 205 the victrolas don't work anymore for clients. Anybody else with this problem?
