There are no dedicated servers for thief 2 multiplayer. You have to make your own, or join someone's server. The reason you are seeing 0 servers is because not anyone is playing currently. If you'd like to find people to play with, (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=124200) go here.

Believe it or not, a new version has been released. Changes:
* Fixed various bugs with the server browser and global server.
* Games can now be joined after the mission has ended and the host is on the objectives or summary screen.
* Fixed off-screen/missing text when viewing book overlays with multiple pages.
* Fixed misplaced next/previous page buttons on book overlays.
* Fixed instability after connecting to a passworded server through the browser.
* Pressing the escape key with the chat box open now closes it.
* Added /suicide chat command.
* Time limit display should remain synched between players.
* Fixed some crash on exit bugs.
* Removed all dependencies on DirectPlay 4.
You can download the .zip (
http://thief.procyonserver.com/downloads/t2mp_215.zip) here or the installer (
http://thief.procyonserver.com/downloads/T2MPSetup_215.exe) here.
My time is somewhat limited now, but I'm hoping to address the synching bug when playing with 4+ players that was mentioned a few pages back soon, as well as a few more improvements.

Thanks Tos! :D

Ditto to what jtr7 said.:thumb: Thanks for your work!
Cool, a /suicide function! That should come in handy when a player gets stuck in geometry. :P

Are there any changes to thief2.exe or it's a DLL update only?

Tos: you don't need to copy it over if you already have the mp patched executable
He told me this over IM. So I believe there is nothing new to thief2.exe

Thanks.

Quick update:
The next release will include an objectives overlay.
(

Inline Image:
http://img696.imageshack.us/img696/9503/objectivesscreen.th.jpgBody carrying should also be fixed for at least the host, though I'm still working on a fix for clients. Dropping/throwing guards will no longer result in them standing up or simply not moving from their original position for other players.
I think that I've narrowed down the cause of the failure to synch with 3 or more players that some people have reported since build 210, and it
may be fixed after the next release, though I can't say for sure because I can't seem to reproduce the problem on my LAN.

We tested build 215 just now on "Partytime" with 3 participants.
We had a few starting problems that were caused by differences in the motion.db and the mission file itself between server and clients, so I recommend to include a check on these files, too.
Else there were only the usual little problems: it seemed like clients weren't able to pick keys from dead (not knocked-out) bodies. And sometimes there were latencies between frobbing a switch and actual action. But I can't say anything more precise about this. We will try more stuff tomorrow. :)
But all in all playing was very fine. You're doing an amazing job on this!

Sorry if this has already been answered here,
Has anyone found a way to get the widescreen patch to install with the thief multiplayer mod?
It worked for me after adding "UseDDFix=True" under [General] in thiefmp.ini.
