I can't find my way into Ariel's room. I've found the secret area with the speed potion (ew) but I can't get inside the room. I feel like an idiot and I've been everywhere else.

There should be a noble man with the key on their belt going between 2 rooms just outside of hers. Using a water arrow on the gas lamp outside doesn't count against ghosting, at least according to this mission's objectives.
