I am playing a Thief 2 mission called "Skeletons in Closet" and I am getting a message saying that I do not have enough space to save the game.
I have gone into the User.cfg file and added the line: skip_starting_checks and saved the file. However I am still getting the message about not having enough space. What can I do to correct this. I know that I have enough space, so what is going on.
Thanks.

Thief botches its free space calculation with big (ie, anything these days) harddrives. Delete (or duplicate) any big file and it should start to work again.
Did NewDark fix this?

Thanks for your suggestion, however, I solved the mystery. When I ran across this problem I just hit the start button and exited out, but game was still loaded. When I added the fix (skip_starting_checks) to the "user.cfg" file I never thought about completely exiting out of the game. When I did this, problem solved.

Yeah, but, see, ZB was pointing you to NewDark, which is an update to the engine that came out a few years ago. It makes it more stable, has lots of modern features and is required for most newer FMs being released. No reason not to upgrade.

yes new dark is a must ,but one thing that i dont like about newdark is it makes all the loot look the same, unless they use custom loot,

NewDark does nothing to the appearance of loot.
