Thanks for the pointer. I remember looking at this tool a while ago, but never pursued. Well, I tried it now and even though I couldn't get it working for Thief2.exe I at least got it working for DromEd, so problem solved (still it would be nice to have everything in one tool :cheeky: ).
Anyway, thanks to both of you!

I too wanted to add a hearty thank you SiO2, truthfully saying thank you isn't enough. I've got fog again as well. Words cannot describe what its like to have fog again. I cannot thank you enough for this!!!:cheeky::cheeky::cheeky:

BETA VERSION AVAILABLE
I'm now putting this into Beta. There is a new version of DDFix here:
(
http://sio2.g0dsoft.com/ddfix_1.4.4_beta.zip) http://sio2.g0dsoft.com/ddfix_1.4.4_beta.zip
Changes from 1.4.3 Alpha
1. Now has a full calculation of the fog-friendly projection matrix
2. Fixed anisotropic filtering - it wasn't set for the second texture stage, only the first.
Does anyone have a copy of this they could put up or email me? I tried the link but it's timing out... Hope I didn't miss the bus :erm:

link works fine, its only a tiny download.

Still no joy on this I'm afraid, Bikerdude. I'm getting a 'source file could not be read' when I try to save the link in firefox.
Hmm, ok I'll try again tomorrow.

when exactly are you getting this message
Namdrol on 27/3/2010 at 22:12
works fine for me here in the UK
casalor on 28/3/2010 at 17:55
ok, I get a
'The connection has timed out'
'The server at sio2.g0dsoft.com is taking too long to respond.'
[after a lengthy pause] in firefox when I Lclick .
If I try to Rclick and save the link I get a
'C:\games\thief stuff\ddfix_1.4.4_beta.zip could not be saved, because the source file could not be read.
Try again later, or contact the server administrator.'
This dialog box appears after I'm prompted for a save and after a lengthy pause (again this is within firefox).
Honestly, the only thing I can think of is it's my ISP (Talk Talk). I can't even ping the site - even with firewall off - but I can easily reach it via an anonymising proxy but can't find the file to download from the front page! *sigh*
Oh, I'm in the UK too.

Works fine here. Worst come to worst, one of us could upload it somewhere else or just mail it to you.

If someone could PM me about emailing it that would be much appreciated.
