My website at (
http://sio2.g0dsoft.com) has been up for over three years with no connection problems during that time that I know of. Can those who can't initiate a download of the ddfix zip try accessing the main (
http://sio2.g0dsoft.com) page to see whether they can?

Honestly, the only thing I can think of is it's my ISP (Talk Talk).
I can't even ping the site - even with firewall off - but I can easily reach it via an anonymising proxy but can't find the file to download from the front page! *sigh*.
This is still the case, which is a shame as you've got some interesting looking stuff on there.

Some more mirrors of Si02's DDFIX would be nice, if you guys know what I mean. Didn't Clearing or Komag or Pavlov (or whoever is the pronounced owner of southquarter) already make a copy?
It's always odd, how some people just can't seem to open some sites with their internet service. I blame Internet Anti-Neutrality, but possibly it's just how a server responds to some connection hosts.
Also, it could be that their router is a piece of crap like mine. :joke:
(I've had a short hiatus from the forums for a while, just to come back for a bit and post this? Wow, I must have really missed the condescending tone of Herr-G's voice)

Hi,
Few month ago i posted some news about situation with fog on dx11 ati cards. It was working without any problems, even without ddfix (but still with horrible colors)

Now, at last (lol), we have dx11 serie of nvidia cards, maybe we will have fog on them too?

T2, Windows 7, x64, Catalyst 10.3, ATI "dx11" card:
just tried Precious Cargo and fog works just fine for me with DDFix (1.4.4) - and without the "horrible colours". I've been cathcing up on a few FM's recently and fog seems to work OK in those too.

Does the fog fix for nVidia cards work with Dromed? I have a problem where fog works fine through thief2.exe, but not at all through Dromed.exe (thread about it in the Editor's Guild (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=131711) here, thought I'd ask here as well so more folks are likely to see the answer!)
It's leading to some slow trial and error adding fog to my mission! :cheeky:

Dromed.exe needs to be patched to point to ddfix instead of ddraw, just like thief2.exe, so make sure you did that.

As discussed in the other thread, for anyone else with this problem, this did the trick and fixed fog. You may have to play with your resolution settings to get Dromed to return from game mode correctly.
