The "room next to Abronsius" is that the trashed room or the one the other side...I cannot find anything in there at all, or am I on the wrong floor...

Right you are ducks! If you're playing on Normal then the riddle and the diary are of no use to you.
There are very few differences in terms of AI in the levels but loads of difference on what you can do and where you can go. So, stop being a big girl's blouse and get cracking with Expert. :)

When you find Abronsius you should ask him. :p
If you want to know a code play on Hart. If you want to know everything play on Expert. :D

I thought the diary and nonsense phrase clue was cleverly done and clear enough when you take the time to really read it. I had no problem figuring it out. But I have to ask, what is "kludge"?

I think I"m about halfway up the tower....
but this mission............... I've seen less twists in a pretzel factory with the bends... its quite a maze
