I'm not stuck, but I had trouble jumping from the chandeliers above the main entrance into the little gap behind the banner. It just seems fairly impossible to mantle, and when it does work I get pushed back and out really quickly.

i tossed a moss arrow on the ledge so that i wouldn't alert the guards, then took a couple of tries to get in, kind of tough, but possible.

First, I can't figure out how to complete the objective to find out what happened to Gaston the Red; second, I'm missing a couple of secrets:
* I read a note saying that the thief was beaten to death or somesuch, that he was searched, they didn't find the key; I found the cell, got the key (and used it), and even picked him up and dropped him -- but the objective didn't tick off. I also went into the cell with the skeleton and poked around, but I didn't see anything in there to frob, at least not as I remember. What am I supposed to do to get that objective to tick off?
* I have only found four of the six secrets; can someone post a list? I have 2900 out of 3000 loot; it's possible that's where the missing 100 loot is found.
Thanks,
Dafydd

I'm stuck. I think I have found everything so far, but I have the crank thingy and I can't seem to get it to work on the statue. Of course this is where I am assuming I should use it.
Never-mind. I should have looked around more the first time.

Dafydd,
1. Go back to that cell with the skeleton and pick up its skull.
2. There is no loot in the secrets.
mxleader - At the base of the statue in the back there is a recess with a lock mechanism inside. You have to position yourself just right to get that mechanism to highlight and then use the crank on it.

I can only repeat what was said in post#2:

Also taking the opportunity to say how friggin' impressive that FM is. Architecture, texture work, models, pacing... this is a perfectly crafted mission. There's a definite TDP taste to it.
I can't believe how impressive this one is!

Yep, there's no doubt who authored this one. My only real quibble was the lack of traps and alert patrols--after two break-ins the best the Hammers could do was a few more candles? Still, it was excellent work on all fronts and enjoyable to stroll about after the blackjack workout.

I can't find Scriptures of the Master Builder. Is it supposed to be in the Library?

Fantastic mission. A lot of atmosphere crammed into a small space.
But I was expecting zombies! I thought the scroll that recommends using other people to distract zombies was a hint to leave the guards alive for when the undead invade. And you get burning oil, frog beast eggs, and mines in an otherwise sneaksy mission. Perhaps there will be a V2 release some time after the competition deadline...

my favourite part was def. the scroll with the hammerite version of the song: If I had a hammer... ROFL :D:cool:
and yes, the author was obvious.. been playing with the elevator for a while... perfect how the gears all turn the right way and reversed if the elevator is coming up again!!!
it was a real pleasure playing this one!! def. OM+++ Quality!!
