I was reading a tutorial about spiral staircases and it mentioned a site (the link is now broken) where you can download a multibrush of a staircase. But, I never knew you could actually export/import multibrushes?
How does one do this? I spent way too much time actually making buildings over again from an unfinished mission to my new mission.
Thanks in advance!

There's an option to save multibrushes as vbr on your HDD. Just load it in a new mission. You can also rename vbr-->mis and load it as mis file.

I've only now tried this for the first time, but it works flawlessly. Thank you a lot!
For anyone else reading this: make a multibrush, and while it is still selected go to Multibrush > Save group to save it as a .vbr file. Then Load it later using Load group.

Be sure that your menus are using the load_group_ex command (NewDark) and not the OldDark load_group. The new version will look for all textures used in the multibrush and load them if possible so that you don't have to retexture after importing.

And if practical, use AlignExt texture alignment mode on all surfaces, so the textures will retain their alignment no matter how the brushes are moved or rotated.

Is it possible to bulk change to AlignExt? Or must that be done face by face?

Good point ZB, I should have mentioned that. I built the bulk of my T1 Anniversary Contest mission by importing and/or copying multibrushes.
@trefoilknot: Not that I know of.
