The mission puts a bit too much emphasis on "just try anything you can (especially if it uses like a key) on anything frobable except light sources"... While most things made at least *some* sense, putting the ring into the jewelry box to get the flowers was just a prime example of that approach. There was no hint at all as to that. Not to mention that I put it there even before I knew I'd need them -- and grabbed them, too, learning that they are linked only from posts here afterwards -- by "anything could be the key" logic trying to *open* the box :)
I am also just a bit (80) short of loot from total (not from objective).

White gem (100) in the well
2 spice bags (2x40) in the house with a sleeping man
Bracelet (20) in the house with a sleeping man
Spice bag (40) in the chest in the sleeping lady's room
Gold coins (25) in the same room
Gold vase (100) in her house
Gold coins (25) in the same house, in the lockbox in the basement
2 spice bags (2x40) in the house with passage further
Gold nugget (100) in the crypt near where the corpse lies and the thief stood (by the way, I tried to track him, but he just vanishes near the door out, and I also killed him -- rope arrows do kill ;)
Gold ring (100) on the floor between a sarcofagus and a statue on the right
2 gold nuggets (2x100) on the ground behind the left corner of the crypt
2 spice bags (2x40) in the caretaker's house
Gold ring (100) and 3 coins (3x5) on the pub floor
Gold coins (25) and 3 silver coins (3x12) in the rooms upstairs
Gold coins (25) in the barman's chest
3 crowns (3x150) and 2 green gems (2x100) in the tomb
2 gold nuggets (2x100) in the tunnels
= 2021/2101[/SPOILER]

A few questions having finished it
Does the ale do anything? I thought I'd given it to a guard, but nothing seemed to happen. Perhaps I drank it instead.
The "Evil cannot approach" altar, um, totally failed to repel evil and I got hacked to bits. Did I miss something?

Like the twist and turns of the mission - but I am having trouble completing.
Have the holy scroll - all other objectives completed apart from returning to wagon. If I exit the tomb , turn left round the back then past a zombie I eventually get to a locked gate - but no key. Assume this may be the route as I can't get back the way I came? Have I missed something?
