great you found the
"magic mushroom"
keep on looking for the secrets
:cheeky:
I found it too, but I didn't use any
trees to get there. :D
The geldhaidia book
does not show all of the words when viewed in the game.

hehe, thanks again to all of you!
the switches in doc's basement are just deco,
the "secret passage" isn't "secret" anymore cause someone found it before garrett :ebil:
it's difficult trying to jump to
the switch and press it before falling down, because if you twist around on the rope arrow you're 'bumped' down by the tree. I climbed up
to the opposite statue, turned around facing the other, moved as far left as I could, and leaned left. From there I was able to shoot the button with a water arrow.
btw how do I get into the building across from the weapon shop?

Turcaill: Thanks for the welcome. Just to be clear here, I don't see a single problem with the mission (besides the technical one) and must congratulate you on a job well done. The only criticism, if any, was that I felt it was too easy to find some of the secrets. By the time I reached the aforementioned marketplace, I had found at least 6 secrets, including the Chisel. It was just as if some places told me "I have a secret, can you find it?"
EDIT: To add to the above discussion:
I picked up the crate outside Sheriff Hagen's side entrance, dropped it on top of the table, climbed up and had a clear shot at the button from there.
hehe yes, it was my intention to make some secrets easier to locate than others. you know some for people who make a "run through" and some for people who do it "the sneaksie way" :D
and that you missed 5 of them makes me say: "oh I've hidden them well" ^^
Turi
the planned way to activate the button for the chisel:
shot a ropearrow at the opposite plattform (yes there IS wood) and activate it with a mossarrow or broadhead if you have one
john, wich building do you mean? the citywatch?
it has 3 different entries, one is a secret passage
john9818a on 26/7/2008 at 19:51
I believe it is the City Watch building. There is a large wood door on one side and a portcullis on another. I can't open either one, but will search for the third. The guards inside can see me through the large wood door. :D
Turcaill on 26/7/2008 at 19:57
ah no! you mean the next part of the city^^ there are just 2 ways.
i already posted a spoiler
that you have to read Mr. Greeds Diary to trigger an event that makes it possible to open the portcullis. The diary can be found above Mr. Greeds shop in the attic
john9818a on 26/7/2008 at 20:29
Ok I'll have to go read the diary, but I found my way into that part of the city anyway.
I'm also having trouble finding Hagens house. :)
Ok I finished with 2030 loot and 5 secrets. I was a little confused to find the Eastgate on the west side of town.
This mission is pretty good and the secrets are hard to figure out. :thumb:

*blushes* oh you found out that i'm a left-right, east-west dyslexic *cry*
Our beloved Sherriff Hagen has no house at all, he just has an office in the station building.
And great that you found the other way :thumb:

lol, I wondered about the location of Eastgate too. Now a question:
Is it possible to jump to the roof from the climable drain pipe outside Greed's house or is that a red herring?
